I work fairly close to an Amazon distribution center and I swear these vans are everywhere. They have multiple brands, I was just at the gas station and there were about 20 in there for start of shift and they were all Transits but the MB dealer locally just doubled their service department size to handle Amazon Sprinters.
How long until you can't swing a dead cat at a motocross track without hitting a gray van?

For all the haters, before you reply - Mike and I are buds... Just bustin' on him...

I'm so ready for a moto van. If the rain holds off I want to ride Pax after work but I'll have to go home to grab my bike. If I had one of those sweeet vans it would always be with me.
Call Amerigas and they say they aren't doing walk in appointments because of Covid. Alright no big deal, I'll find someone else. Call around everywhere. Nobody will do it, they all recommend each other basically putting me in a loop of calling every propane supplier in the area only to find out they don't do propane tank recertification.
I decide I'll figure out this recertification process later, and for now I'll just get a new tank since we could use an extra anyway. I look around locally first. No propane shops sell a 33 lb forklift tank, just the regular size and 40/30 lb single valve tanks. I check craigslist and there are a couple ads but they are closer towards LA, not looking to drive 2 hours for a single tank. I see one on OfferUp, reply to it and never get a text/email back from the guy. Home Depot has them on their site but doesn't have them in stock, would take about a week to order and get it in store.
Figure what the hell I'll try amazon... lo and behold, they have the exact 33 lb forklift propane tank I was looking for that I can get shipped to my door tomorrow afternoon, and it was cheaper than the new one at Home Depot AND the used one I found on craigslist.
Honestly, I hate that it worked out like that but I went ahead and ordered it.
Convenience is king and I try to support local businesses when I can, I tried everything I could to avoid Amazon, but the price + one day shipping just couldn't be beat.
Amazon truly is something else... I saw one of their massive distribution centers in Chicago where their sprinter vans all line up in the morning and it is truly a sight to behold.
I'm working on getting the absolute longest Mercedes Sprinter (170 EXT), in order to downsize from my current truck + camper setup. I figure I can fit bikes way back there in the rear, and still have enough room for decent camper conversion area forward of the bikes,(and above). If you get some swivel mounts for the front seats, your living area is even bigger still.
Lots of former Delivery vehicles for sale in the NYC NJ area. Trying to stay away from those that had a hard life.
In a few years when all the people that bought vans for camping and rarely went camping will have them for sale cheap just to get it out of the driveway and dump the payment, That will be your opportunity for a good deal.

And by they I mean me.
And this is just a joke, I don't hate cats anymore than the normal required amount of hate.
