I don’t get why the hill boys get so much hate the guys truly love dirtbikes and Justin could still go out and wax every mcr rider.

At least Justin was capable of qualifying out of the heat races...

Yes. There's a reason why Tickle keeps getting offered rides.

As an anonymous poster here, I heard from sources that I can say that Justin took time off to build a house and take time with his new child. The plan is to come back next year with a year of 250 eligibility and rebuild himself.

But you just never know exactly what those two will do. Josh overall isn’t broke and is pretty well of financially, and Josh did extremely well with JGR, so essentially, they are just living life.

okay I forget you guys just go with the herd
My bad

Tickle is just as capable as hill and should be making every main, not going through the lcq and constantly top 10.

Both are very fun to watch when they're on. I wish they'd race and put in 100% effort, but it's their life, not mine. Not going to spew a bunch of hate at someone living their life the way they want to. I've turned down significantly higher paying jobs before because it would have interfered with the things I actually wanted to do with my life.

Both Josh & Justin were very hard workers from a young age and so was their father.
I can remember Josh training in La Center Washington back in the day on rare days that it hit 90 degrees in the area with a ski jacket on over his gear just to prepare for the heat at LL's.
It takes a lot of work & dedication to make it to the National Pro level in this sport.
With that said, some can hit burn-out mode sooner than others and hang it up or just need a break.
I'm sure not just the training, but all the travel and busy schedule can take it's toll on anyone.
I wish them both the best regardless of the route they take!

Josh was on fire the year he destroyed his leg, fast and looked fit, I think saying his career was a disappointment without factoring in that crash is not fair.

You have to factor in the decision making that led to that injury in what should have been the prime of his career.

I think they looked at guys vlogging and realized they had twice the skill and just as much personality. Why slave over SX when you can make a living producing videos free riding and living life.

I love following Josh. Guy does incredible stuff and lives such a fun life. More power to them.

Broc Tickle is the opposite of Justin Hill. He is a hard, hard worker and despite some pretty incredible setbacks (not being allowed to defend his 2011 250 championship, injury upon season ending injury, the WADA bullshit, etc.) has consistently given his all.

Even if Broc's performance this season isn't his best, it's not because he's lazy or not trying. You never hear him going on moto podcasts to navelgaze, make excuses, and daydream about being Jerry Cantrell.

Josh missed a real opportunity this year, with how depleted the east coast is he could have gotten on the podium and had solid results

I can't help but admire Josh living the life he is now after that wreck and damage to his leg. He still gets paid pretty well to ride his dirtbike, which one of us wouldn't give our left nut to be in those shoes? And the fact he can still line up and race a SX race is pretty damn impressive.

Just is supposed to race the Dallas rounds and maybe Atlanta as well, or so I have heard. All the videos of him look great, he is shredding! O'neal must have paid him a shit ton of money to not wear Leatt and give up his ride at MCR, a very big and ballsy gamble on one's career. I guess we will see how that works out for him over the next few years.

To make the 450 class this year you have to be a bad ass. I will be curious to see if they can make the 450 main over the Twisted Tea guys and others that are on the cusp.

It does seem that Justin squandered opportunities....but I don't walk in his shoes....so....I'm not going to pass judgement.

Looking forward to see Josh line up at Atlanta. Could care less if I ever see Justin race again.

Them not racing just opens doors for other people to get good rides. People stay pro for too long these days *cough* Bogle
Because what else is he going to do? Rap? I don't think that's going to pay the bills.
It worked for izzi and stroupe

I think you have this all wrong. Justin is not racing, but Josh is supposedly. He walked away from an MCR contract and didn't return calls from the ownership etc until given a full ultimatum. Entitled douchey behavior in many cases by both of them and likely the most wasted talent since Jason Lawrence.
