No more dragon's back ?

Edited Date/Time 3/4/2021 1:38pm
Had a look at every trackmap on the supercross live website, and there is apparently no dragon's back section on any of the tracks in 2021.

I remember Webb & Cianciarulo getting injured on one of these in Arlington last year; but i feel like its kinda missing on the track as it was a great separator. Why are they gone ?

Yes, riders got hurt on these, but correct me if im wrong, riders are still getting hurt without them. Are they gonna get rid of whoops and do flat track next ?

We need some more (and new) obstacles, not less ...

Well they seem to be persistent on only having whoop sections with like eight whoops maximum so we’re already half way to doing away with whoops too.

The dragon backs were used up in 2017-2018. Theyre out of stock and are replacing it with walls

When your team is sponsored by the primary competition of the series' number one sponsor, and you call the shots,,,, that's called horsepower.

I think we need a broke back mountain obstacle. Every time around the track, they switch out the triple landing distance and slope size on the other side. JK..

Well, Webb lost the Championship last year on a dragons back so there's that.

Also, someone pointed out the whoops have been lame at every round this year.....what 2 'top tier' guys are known to be whoop jumpers? Oh that's right, Webb and MooseCan.

Where there is smoke, there is usually fire.

Decoster has jumped the shark, can't wait til they quit letting him call the shots for MXDN as well, maybe we can start competing again.....

We are only allowed three obstacles in supercross (4 if you count the flaggers, medics, and AMA).

1) the jaw dropping supercross triple. (Same dimensions every week

2) whoops. Must be tame and have a pre whoop. ( one big set per year until everyone hits it like they are small then we get that taken away)

3) a combination of singles and table tops that can be arranged one of three ways.

Yeah,,,,,, but DeCoster obviously is dictating the length, breadth and, depth of said obstacles. Plus, the type of dirt and, amount of prep. Not to mention the double super secret flaggers meeting prior to race day.

LungButter is not alone in this conspiracy theory.

Love or hate Reed, you can’t deny he’s been in supercross at the top level for a long time, as a rider, team owner and raced for Roger, so he has more insight than most. His opinion is the same:

I've always said SX was like going to the circus to see the animals, outdoor MX is like going on safari.

Chad's had it broke off in him. He should know what happens when you mess with the bull of the woods. Lots of little pretender wannabes in this sport. There can be only one, "The Man".

When he makes comments like that, now I know his rider union / organization talk was never anything more than "cheap talk." He just used it as an excuse anytime HE felt wronged as an individual, could care less about the riders as a whole. Guy harped about organizing, but probably only really wanted to organize for certain people. Collectively not looking out for every competitor. As an owner you don't want a union, as a promoter you dont want a union, as a rider you want a union. Although i'm not sure a lot of riders want a union either. Which is fine, as long they keep racing, I don't care.
