If my Employer came to me and said Hey i know this sucks but we didnt get paid for the jobs we completed last week so i can not pay you . I like blake, great rider. But look at the field this year. Its stacked. Blake would be a non factor if he was out there and the casual fan probably doesn't even realize he isn't. Regardless of what Butler owes him if he thought he had a chance at winning some races this year he would have been out there. His wrist is jacked and I think this is his chance to step away from the sport and be able to point to some other reason as to why.

Anytime a committed contender isn’t out there it sucks. He has his reasons for not racing and they are none of my business. I’ve seen him beat everyone currently racing at one time or another. Wish he was out there but also wish him the best.

Maybe he can make it back for the Nationals, I love it when he is on it outdoors. He can run with anyone outdoors if the stars align.

I think it’d be cool for him to give the GP’s a try but I do not think he would win races. He rarely wins in the US where he is familiar and comfortable. I just don’t see him being able to go over there and beat what is likely tougher competition on tracks he doesn’t know in countries he isn’t familiar with.

Lawsuits can be funny. You can take into account loss of livelihood, (which can be monumental) interest, potential investment loss and about anything else you might prove. If you can market your name or number that is something as well. Sometimes being quiet has its advantages. I would think that since Both sides are being quiet its an ongoing mediation type thing, but who knows.

I'd suggest that there's a mutally agreed #mediablackout from all parties, hence why no investigative journalism has gone on.

Or, I would also go as far as to assume also that surely, if they'd made contact with either party and asked questions but the parties refused to talk, that the media would at least report that.

The RMATV season launch interview didn't shed a great deal of light on it either.

A bit harsh but i somewhat agree. Not once during these race days have i thought about Baggett. Of course it would be good to have him on the gate but it just shows that with the current field we have, even a guy like Baggett is dispensable from an entertainment point of view.

Obviously this doesn't apply if you're a die hard Blake Baggett fan. But i wonder how many there are of those?

That’s the thing they can’t and/or don’t wanna afford it, that’s why they get a 2nd rider like Monticelli that can get top10 quite regularly but pay a lot of money to get his ride.
I don’t think a GP team would pay a lot of money for an American to come unless it’s Osborne.
They have enough fast MX2 riders that needs to move up and that could potentially get top10’s their first year.

The list is endless. Even in our current season, Barcia damn near t-bones KR and the most response we get is from Barcia's freaking IG page. It's pathetic.

EDIT - STewart's status was referencing when JS7 was set to line up and then never did. It was a complete blackout involving the sports largest star...and not ONE of the moto journalists seemed to have any ability to get status.
