He protected his line and they BOTH went for it with a couple corners to go. Any earlier and Jett likely would of checked up. But given there’s no time left he went for it.

That is GREAT racing. Why the complaining ?!

Either way you look at it. Craig made a move that resulted in himself on his arse and losing precious points to his teammate.

He didn't have to take Jett out wide with his elbow up and out.

Hey, at least we didn't have to watch Craig take his bottle and run down the tunnel, thumb in his mouth like last week. Good thing this week he took advantage of his team mates early race weaknesses too huh?

Smug is an understatement and he wonders why he has doubters?

this place is so bias it smells !!!!!!!!
so when ferrandis(foreigner) did it to craig( american) this place when bazurk, and ferrandis was penalized !!!!!!, even the move of lawrence(foreigner) on mosiman (american) was consider dirty and jett had to apologize for it, but now it is all racing !!!!!!!! as it is every time it is an american going dirty......
thats why the wins of roczen, ferrandis, jett, evan reed, have a way bigger value since its on every one of you, and looking at the big picture, and seing thomas do, an french privateer, being a top10 guy consistently, is a good sign for the future......

Craig is not managing this title like someone his age should be. When he was so upset about the second place finish saying he needed the win is where I started to notice that. That’s the mentality that causes these kinds of instances to happen. Take the second, take the third, come back the next night and get the win.

But back on topic, this race was fun to watch, Jett’s comeback was incredible to watch. I would have rather seen it end with both Craig and Jett on the podium though.

That was a pretty big mistake for a vet to make, but accidents happen on the track, seems like Craig was desperate to keep the position.

All in all, it was great racing all the way to the checkers, probably the best round so far. Jett was crazy good.

Dont think it was dirty, but just really embarrassing attempt for craig to keep a position he didnt deserve. He should have known way better

I don't know who's fault it was, but I'd be more worried why Christian lost 13 seconds to The Jett. Whether or not who's fault it was, Craig put himself in that position by fading.

The real shitty part about all of this is, it has taken most of the attention and shine off of a completely dominating first place finishing ride from Nichols who absolutely kicked everyone's ass in the race. Yes Jett rode great and made up a ton of time, but Nichols gapped everyone and managed the race to win with a large margin. That track was brutal. Expect the next two races to be the same in terms of rutted jump faces, etc.

On Tuesday night, if Jett and Colt can get good starts, it's going to be a barn burner between those two.

So after winning a state title as a novice you decided to see if you could remain a novice and win another one. Should have moved up on your own after a title as a novice. I'd rather get last place in the expert class than continue winning titles as a novice. BTW, at 50+yrs. old there should be no such thing as a novice.

In all honesty, I think the pressure is getting to Craig. He’s never really been in title contention. He has the skills and speed. He’s just dealing with pressure he’s never dealt with and he doesn’t know how to deal with it.

Christian seems to have a tendency so start falling apart when things aren’t going his way. I remember Tristan Charbonaeu talking about Craig throwing a tantrum and excommunicating him after Tristan was faster at the practice track one day. It’s possible that is happening on some level with Jett/Colt this year.

Colt rode great and absolutely managed that race... not sure if anyone else noticed this, but right around 7:30 left in the race, Colt got a Red/White cross flag coming outta the corner under the tunnel jump and had to roll in that section. don't know if craig had to roll as well... and no, that's not an excuse why Jett caught him, Jett rode amazing and came from way back. Would be awesome to see Colt and Jett battle in the coming races

It's just funny to see how quick people are to be pumped for him and than completely bash him the next weekend.

Craig blew his championship load at H1. He acted like he climbed to the mountain top after 1 race. Needed to keep that emotion bottled up.

Btw, Jett was 15 seconds off Craig with 11 minutes left with traffic ahead of him. Just sayin.
If the roles were reversed, you'd be defending the aggressive move, but instead you decide to take a low blow at Craig. Racing is aggressive, and in the heat race Jett found out that what goes around, comes around. Better to learn that lesson sooner rather than later.
