Very exciting day for my little man today. I had put a deposit down on the new factory edition back in September after they announced it. Bike finally showed up this past week. He new he was getting a 21 but had no idea it was going to be the FE. Can’t see in photo but his other foot is in a cast currently and he still all he wants to do is rip this thing right now! Looking forward to the upcoming season.

That memory will last a lifetime and its such a small investment for that kind of happiness. Well done, dad!

Great job dad! I’ll never forget the day I went with my dad to buy a brand new 1985 CR80😁 Sadly I passed a Kawasaki dealer on the way and dad said “You sure you don’t want a Kawasaki?” And I said “No, it only has one horsepower more than the CR, so I’ll just get a Honda!”. I was misreading the ‘Dirt Rider’ magazine dyno charts and didn’t realize how much WIDER and better-hitting the KX powerband was😂 Later on a friend got an 85 KX80 and after I ride it I knew how badlyI messed up😂😂 Anyway, sorry for the long story! Just brings back sweet memories and I’m so glad your little guy will have some of his own👍

Super Dad!!! Holy hell, I had no idea they even made those bikes with a FE model (but, of course they do lol).. This is the stuff dreams were made of when I was a kid. Way to come through!! Hope you two make some awesome memories together; I know I did with my dad

Hopeful for 2 seasons. This is going to be a race day bike only as he has a 20 KTM 50 that he used all last season that will be his practice bike this year.

Full back story I always wanted a dirt bike growing up never happened. Summer of 19 we were out visiting family in Illinois and their Papa pulls out a JR50 from the garage. They have a blast riding around his yard and about 20 min in my daughter is keeping the thing pinned trying to go as fast as possible. He sends us home with the bike, get home pick up a TTR50 as its hard to have 2 kids one bike. Buddies kids ride and race harescrambles so they start riding woods with them and did 3 harescramble races that fall. Before the last race found a screaming deal on a used 18 KTM 50 and pick that up for my daughter and to see are we really all in on this. Yup, we are and having a blast.

This past February I got myself a new Beta 200rr, I'm only 5'7" 155lbs and it fits perfect, great bike to learn and grow on and most importantly ride with my young shredders. Covid hits and there's no woods racing at all and we are all bummed so start looking for options to be able to race and we find a couple motocross tracks. We did some summer camp sessions at Wareham MX which then turns into bi-weekly private lessons. They took to it really well and we started racing locally at Capeway. Had a blast and they both pulled some podium finishes. August picked up a 65 for my daughter as she was aging out of the 50's and it was time to start practicing on the big bikes. Went great, picked up quick and started racing that bike.

That gets us to where we are at now. Son will be racing the 50 this year at age 7. January birthday for both of them so they are pretty lucky there. Will probably start playing with a 65 in the fall and then race 50 and 65 next year. Daughter is racing 65 as 9 and then moves up next year. Looking to expand our tracks this year and hopefully hit some AMA events and see how the bigger races go. Everyone is having a blast and its been a great family sport and they are hooked.
