I've already paid my $$ for the Supercross Live international stream as I have done since it was first offered in 2018. So I'm not here to debate the money side of things.

Before we get too bent out of shape about Feld ripping us off, we Canucks should always follow the path of broadcast rights. In Canada, it looks as though Corus Entertainment has the rights to Peacock content. But of course, they are not offering anything useful that would allow a Canadian to access the racing. It's different but yet similar to when Speed was eliminated after 2015 and Fox Sports took over. They had "Fox Sports Racing" in Canada, but only a few carriers chose to pick it up. Out west, we were completely shut out. I remember driving down to a dive sports bar in NW Washington and begging them for 1 TV to show SX on Saturdays, or trying to watch pirate streams at home.

At the end of the day, SX/MX is already a niche sport in the big picture, and then in Canada it is even more niche and I doubt any Canadian company with the broadcast rights will really worry too much about motorcycle racing. Being able to access the NBC Gold via VPN was actually luxury, and people were fortunate they could do so. Does it suck that it changed for this year? Absolutely. But it was never a guaranteed service for us to access via VPN right??

We aren't in fact trying to circumvent the system-we are actually trying to find a way to PAY for the stream like we have in past years using NBC Sports Gold because we could get both the SX and MX seasons in a package but this new peacock package won't allow us to sign up the way we used to. Many of us who living outside the US went to the extra expense to get a VPN service so we can get a US IP address that let us sign up and pay for it, so we are all understandably disappointed in this development. No one is trying to scam anyone FYI (at least the members in these threads trying to figure this out before this weekend).

It’s not a service offered outside canada, sorry to say but tough shit. I’m Canadian and 5 years ago using a VPN, hoping you had a friend with satellite who would share their TV provider login or streaming off some bullshit site that gave your computer aids was the only chance we had to watch racing when speed and fox decided to ruin our day. The amount I spent on switching TV companies and pissing around to watch supercross was stupid. Now, it’s a simple one time payment subscription annually with no hassle no bullshit no strings attached. Our TV package alone is like $120 cad a month, and no NBC sports as an option. Again, if you want to cheap out and use a VPN now that we at least have an option to have a flawless service we’ll then I hope you enjoy the fuckaround and computer aids. Can’t fix stupid. Bring on the downvotes.
{Can’t fix stupid }you are so right, thanks for admitting your faults on a public forum takes real courage

To be honest, I'm not sure. If I had to guess, I'd say that it probably wouldn't work.

Usually it detects you're not in the US and blocks it. Maybe would work with the use of a VPN, but like it was been mentioned in another thread, even with one it wouldn't process the payment using PayPal.
I did find a solution that works, thanks in part to TeamGreen. If you can get someone in the US to sign up for Peacock and use a US VPN when you login under their email and password it works perfectly. I had a buddy hook me up and he has asked for repayment in the form of some good Canadian Whisky when I can get across the dang border again. And I can also look forward to the great outdoors once again in 2021. So, to all you good Canadians (save Brownie281), or anyone else outside the US-start hitting up your US buddies for a little assistance!

Exactly.
I have spent too many Season Openers with Friends/ Family, only to find glitches, drops, or someone eating chips in the background (with barking dogs) of some BS feed. God, that pissed me off
All my peers I wanted to impress (with SX) went home thinking WTF?
Have been saying for years, just give me a quality feed for a quality price, and I’m in.
$100 bucks, $200 bucks. Whatever.
Just make it work right please?!

Yes, did the same now! Contacted an old mate from US, he purchased peacock premium with his US account and I can enjoy sx + mx now. Best option for sure currently. So sad that international streaming in 2021 is still so fucked up. Whatever, excited for a good season!

Mav it will work with a vpn. Also note that Peacock will allow three concurrent streams on one account.

Just saying I heard rumours “hint hint”

Moto167,

I don't think there is a discount code, and besides the Peacock package is pretty dang cheap at 49.99USD-BUT, there is a catch here unfortunately. In order to get this package you will have to have a VPN program that gives you a US IP address in addition to having someone in the US order the package for you and provide you with an email and password to log in with. But going through the trouble does give you both the SX and MX package for the season. Otherwise you have to go with the supercross live package through feld and it is 130.00USD for the international stream. Pick your poison and good luck!

Thank you for the heads up, unfortunately I don’t have any contacts in the US. Was going to go the Motoworld.tv route but hesitant as it may get shutdown. Normally I’d do the $200 supercross package but work is slow up here due to worksite restrictions because of Covid.

This is just ridiculous... If they put at least somewhat reasonable price tag on it, I would be down. When the offer is pay more than double or fuck off, then I will just drop it. I dont get to watch sx, and they dont get any money. Nobody wins

Being from Canada, always have to pay for watching the races. used to fork out $130 for sx and another $150 for outdoors, finally got around to buying a VPN, currently have a Peacock account, but I can’t purchase premium even though my VPN is active, keeps saying ‘whoops sorry there’s been a problem, please try again’ any suggestions ???

It looks like the only option for us is the video pass from Feld at $130 USD.

Sucks to be a fan if you're not from the US.
Maverick - got your PM, but I can’t seem to be able to reply. PM me your e-mail so I can run something by you.

As a True Fan of Canadian MX ...

I am STOKED that y'all figured out a way to see Jess get his Supercross on.
Now, if we can get Dylan down here on the GDR Honda...maybe wit a little HRC help...?

See you at the races this summer. 1st round of cocktails is on me...

There's an AMAZING Texas Whisky called" Acre" that has a loose affiliation with Moto thru some old-school Texas MXers like Vital's own "SeeMe First"...who's close friends with the maker/bottler.

I'll see if I can get a bottle "imported" for Gopher Dunes National this summer...I'll be racing there during the National weekend...again.

That’s probably because you live in the US and have never had to deal with a streaming service not being available in your country.

There is no problem, you go to supercrosslive.com, you pay them $129 bucks. You download the app to your Apple TV/FireTV stick or the iOS or Google app and boom - nice stream and all the races going back to 2010.

When you try and muck with it to get yourself and 14 of your buddies on a single subscription that's where things go sideways. Or if you try and use the US stream with a VPN and realize the VPN you're using has its IPs restricted or the VPN doesn't have enough of a pipe, things also go shitty. No shocker that the rights owner doesn't want VPN use...they are in the business of making money after all.
