Did 'Steel Roots' finally topp the Terrafirma trillogy?

Or was it the Crusty crew?. In my opinion Terrafirma 3 was the last decent one before it got too freestyle and went away from pro's in daily life/the nationals.

P.s Face To Face - Disconnected OR Alice In Chains - Nutshell??

Face to Face, for sure... all time great moto movie song. IMO, Megadeath - Symphony of Destruction is a very close second though

Nutshell is a GREAT song on its own though

I still listen to a playlist of the songs from terrafirma 2 when I’m at work, just sends me back to the carefree days of watching that video over and over. Even all the kids on my street that didn’t ride moto knew that video.

Terrafirma 7 was really good and still had plenty of racing footage. The intro is still the sickest thing ever. And Steel Roots may be the best moto movie ever made. Revelation 199 is up there too.

For me it's Face to Face but great songs in Nutshell and Symphony...

I wonder how it would have gone for MC if he joined Suzuki not so last minute and they had the bike and effort they did the same for RC?

And BTW, Biohazard - Modern Democracy may take the cake for rad MX video soundtracks. (Terrafirma III.)
Side note: I was at the release party for that video. It was somewhere in Hollywood - one of the well-known nightclubs - Whiskey a Go-Go, maybe? Anyway, Jeff Emig was walking around in a powder blue vinyl leisure suit from Shift, with the swagger of a newly-minted 250cc National Champion. The movie was an hour or two late getting started, so everybody was fairly liquored up by the time the opening sequence began. As soon as Johnny Campbell rode into the shot and the music started bumping, the whole place erupted like it was a Metallica concert. Awesome!

I watched terrafirma 1 last night and I see now this thread! I watched all those videos a few times this year.
I wish someone would post crusty 1 on YouTube!
It would be so cool to have movies like this again!

I still think as a series Terrafirma was better than Steel Roots. I liked the Steel Roots w/ McGrath on the Suzuki. That was 1 of the best MX Vids ever. But after that it just wasn't as good for me. I can only see a nac-nac or Superman so many times in 1 video. Is there only 3 SR videos? I can't even remember but I know that I had 1, 2 and 3. As far as Terrafirma, I agree that after 3 that it started to lose a bit of it's MX lifestyle vibe and became a bit more freestyle. But there are still some great sections in the later Terrafirma vids too. I used to watch those vids constantly. Good times.

Ive always wondered what MC thinks when he sees that footage now or when the last time he actually watched it was. Everytime in the last few years I see any of the old TF or Crusty videos I get melancholy. It just seemed to be a simpler time. Such a fun era. I wouldn't live in SoCal again for anything, but living there in the mid - late 90s was amazing.
