Glad to see some are riding tracks, those wheelie boys are not short on talent, if they really wanted to dominate the local tracks, they probably could.

I can relate why its just so much easier to roll out of your yard with whatever your wearing and have a blast on a dirt bike for $5 in gas versus having to wake up early, load up a ton of gear in a truck or trailer, drive hours to a track, pay entrance, wait around for your turn and get all hot and dirty and then do the same thing to get home and then clean the bike. Its not easy for the inner city kids to do.

This cracks me up every time I see someone post this stupid shit. They like literally know how to do one thing.....ride wheelies. Forget the fact that the other 999 things you need to be good at to be competitive on a track , they have no clue about. I think it's great they are going to the track , instead of terrorizing the street's.....but they have no advantage over anyone else going to a track.

Let use Colton Haaker as an example here. Awesome offroad guy , and could out " wheelie " any one of those guys , along with knowing all the other stuff needed to be good on a track. Sorry for coming off like a prick here , but your comment is borderline retarded.

I disagree, and its not retarded, they have talent and can out wheelie anyone and have great bike handling skills. They just choose to focus on the street and wheelie riding. No chance anyone of us or a pro could keep up with them on city streets with live traffic and cops chasing you. They dont just do wheelies, they do wheelies while hanging off the bike, laying down on the bike, with 1-2 people on the back, they frickin dance while wheeling, and zig zagging through traffic and being chased by cops. Some are hacks with lesser skills but the good ones, man you couldnt catch one on a bike if you tried.

I think they have a ton of talent and bike handling skills, and if they chose to apply it towards becoming competitive motocrossers at the local level and beyond, I have no doubt they could excel at it. That kid in the video on his first ride on the track was way better than any other first time rider I have ever seen at my tracks...

Just because you do not agree, doesnt make it borderline retarded! Maybe its just the perspective you see it from is semi-retarded?? Wink Smile Laughing
Towards the end of my career I was a top 10 guy in the B class on the amateur national level. Frequently our B class would set the quickest times of the week. I can’t wheelie for more than 10 feet. I can wheelie just long enough to get over a roller or breaking bump and that’s about it. Those bike skills to wheelie on a smith pavement road that you speak of mean nothing on a track.

You mean racing? Last summer I went through a burn out phase and did a lot of fishing instead. I used to be able to handle my work all week long and then ride on the weekends. The last 4 - 5 years it's been harder for me to manage both. I still try and ride on the weekends when I'm not so sore from work , but I have weekends where my body can't handle a ride day after putting in a 50 - 60hr work week any more. Ride when I can....race?....I don't even know any more.

I just watched that , and it sounds like they were told if you ride we are gonna pull you over, and to know that and make the decision to still ride while armed with a stolen gun on you, wow thats incredibly dumb.

If I ever get 1 felony, then I won’t really care about more felonies. Catch me carryin weapons and ridin in the streets. Who cares.

So if you got 1 felony, you wouldn't care if you ever ate steak, spend intimate time with a woman, or ride a dirt bike or any bike ever again?
Makes sense lol

NJMPFOD, miss that place. That vet track and table he was working on is probably one of the easiest parts of the track, but everyone has to start somewhere. Still not a fan of him and what his "brand" is assoicated with even if he is riding occasionaly at the track. Would be ironic if his or his crew's bikes were stolen while on the way to Millville, that area used to see tons of stolen bikes from people getting ready to ride/race there.

Vital when there is a robbery: "FUCKING WHEELIE BOYS!"
Vital when a wheelie boy tries to ride a track and set an example for his followers: "FUCK YOU YOU TALENTLESS WHELLIE BOY!"

I somehow stumbled upon this thread and saw it was old so out of curiosity looked to see if they kept with going to the track and from my brief scrolling through his videos it looks like he has not continued riding MX. I'd guess cause it take skills, practice and dedication rather than being a one trick pony with a skill that you could pick up in a couple weeks at most of trying.

Crazy to see the reactions here, but then an Ex MX racer goes and makes the same type of video, all illegal riding, riding on sidewalks, getting out of the van on a road acting like it’s a track

And THIS is the comment THAT gets. Savage...

What the fuck is the difference between doing it on a bike or skateboard or dirt bike?? You have your panties in such a tight wad about mulfs doing something different. Pro skaters and bmx guys make a living doing the shit in this video, haven’t heard you bitch once about that.

XRmark I thought Hypermoto was saying the same thing you are but maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Anyways I was one of the kids that did this back in the day, not to this extent but with a couple buddies because we didn't have a pickup to get to the local riding spot. I even got chased, crashed, tased , arrested and got a felony fleeing and eluding charge for it.

But now that I'm older and doing the sport right and I want to put a track in my state that does not have one single public track and the reason no city will approve one is because as soon as they hear dirtbikes they think of these wheelie guys and will shoot it down. No city wants to take the risk of becoming the home base for dirtbikes because they think it will attract these guys all over their streets. You can try to explain the difference but they will always be biased towards MX because of these guys. I guarantee you it's hurting our sport more than anyone realizes. I bet even parents that don't ride won't buy their kids bikes because it has turned them off to the true sport.

When you skate or ride bmx which I do both as well btw it is not comparable to being a 12 o clock boy , usually when skating you're with like 1 to 6 other people and a 5 pound board or 20 pound bike hitting you or your car does way less damage than a 250 pound motorcycle or 450 pound quad.

That’s my point buddy. I’m a fan of it all, including wheelie boys. I think it’s all cool as shit.

I don’t understand the guys hating on wheelie boys, but not the other. Especially when it’s the “law” they use as the excuse for hating.

I remember seeing who I assumed to be a 'wheelie boy' racing the Baltimore arenacross a number of years ago. He was entertaining to watch on track. Tried his best but cased the finish line jump harder than anyone else that day. Had no problem wheelieing through the pits one handed after his race though. Why did his brand new RMZ have absolutely every graphic removed?...

I agree that wheelie boys can put a bad taste in people mouths about dirtbikes, but what irks me is that every single time theres a wheelie boys thread you have a bunch of guys here who automatically jump on them as being thieves riding stolen bikes. That's obviously not the case for the guy in OP's vid, and many other popular wheelie boys are rich kids who obviously don't need to steal bikes. I don't know if there's just some underlying racism there or what but stereotyping them all as thieves is obviously not right.

Of course there’s underlying racism. It’s not normal to call EVERY wheelie boy a “thug” or “inner city hoodlum”. And click on some of these guys profiles, how come they all hate the Stewart brothers? Weird.

I’d love to rip my bike through the city. Tires are too expensive though.

This is why I'm surprised there's not more supermoto talk on this site. I figured it would be a good alternative for those who can't get to the track/woods as often as they like. I bought mine 10 years ago and love ripping through the tight twisties around here.

No kidding! I'm going to go ride my KTM Duke today, as a matter of fact.

And on the other end, I took my nephew's YZ-144 to the local supermoto track, ON KNOBBIES, and just
had a shitload of fun sliding around. (No, I didn't crash. Laughing )

So jealous, I wish there was a supermoto track near me. My friend and I did find an "open" go-cart track at VIR while doing a track day there and took our xr80 pitbikes for a few laps. That was a blast.

Nice. Yeah, that's definitely what it is, underlying racism. Has nothing to do with the fact that friends and dealers close by have gotten hit by these losers. It seems to get worse every year too. I hate Stewart so much my desktop picture is him throwing a whip on a 125 Grinning
