Interesting.

How would you break that down into a 3 hour program, two classes, needed breaks between, say :30 lap times indoors and 1:30-2:00 outdoors?

Start early..go all day...put the mains on tv..with some highlites of qualifying...

This, or something similar. Go back to racing to qualify. Qualifying by lap times on a track that changes every lap is the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Let's take Glen Helen as an example. You're going to compare lap times from guys in the first practice with guys who get the last practice ? Talk about comparing apples and oranges, it makes no sense.

Amateur racing, eliminate about 1/2 the classes, way too many ribbon classes.

Longer motos, need more seat time to offset the cost.

Somehow bring tracks owners liability insurance down, it's a major cost that cuts into improvement funds for the facility.

AMA, as valuable as it is, I've seen that cost run off many potential racers. It's a big hit as an additional cost for a new guy to have to pay, some new riders don't know if racing is for them or not and that cost can be a deciding factor as to whether ot not they take their first gate drop.

I’d like to see the sport taken more seriously/professionally on an internal level and manifest that outwards.

Press conference’s aren’t optional for anyone out of the top 10 in both classes. Riders must dress professionally as well.

Less bro down by media, more professional approach, treat it as your job is to make this sport look as legit as NFL, MLB, etc.

Essentially treat the sport as though everybody involved is making the sport appear well put together and professional and less like a circus.

Oh, and no Ralph talking about riders “Soaring through the midnight sky amongst the stars while they make their statements.”
