I know right! It's crazy that he's just so damn lucky he ended up on a factory HRC bike, only a few other riders ever have been that lucky!!! Maybe if he continues on this hot streak, he'll luck into a 250sx title!

Was Millsaps the last HRC 250 pilot?

Nothing cooler than a factory 125/250

I thought it was Josh Grant?

Anyone know who is building the engines? Unless I’m mistaken (which I could be, since I don’t follow MXGP), HRC doesn’t currently field a competitive 250 team in Europe. With the SX season rapidly approaching, this doesn’t give the team much time to develop a competitive and reliable engine package. Hopefully they were able to retain some of the talent and data from the Geico team. Jett is going to be an exciting rider to watch in 2021!

Josh was straight to Geico (actually, just Factory Connection Racing at the time).

Finally! Why the FC suspension though? He isn’t getting help from Factory KYB or Showa?

Tommy Hahn might have been the last true factory 250 Honda guy in the US. Back when Dungey was #62!

If you're referring to the post in this thread I think he was just saying he's lucky he's on arguably the most historic team at 17 years old.. Not that he only got there through luck

Id still say hes not lucky to be there. He earned it. Held his own this year against veterans of the 250 class in sx and mx. Even when he was emx250 in mxgp, riding a under powered rmz against a hp stacked pack on a deep sand track, managed to smoke em. Same with sexton, he proved hes a ripper in the 450 class in his rookie season. As did ac

In the full video.. he is still using a GEICO tool box as well. My point being, they are probably just in the process of transitioning everything and they need the kid riding to keep getting seat time.

Those factory Honda 250s were my favorite bikes. The Woody Woodpecker with those red hubs wheeewwwwweeee and in that case those silver wheels looked so damn good.

Yes of course he/they earned it..
No one is saying he didn't.. It's a saying! It's amazing he's on THAT team THAT young! Whether he earned it or not..
Ya not gonna say 'wow he's on HRC Honda at 17 years old... Well I guess if I think about his results and his ability that checks out he deserves everything he gets' haha

I bet he feels lucky to be on factory Honda at 17..

(I should mention I'm only feel like I should stick up for #434 cause he's German and I'm assuming English is his second language and maybe can't explain himself completely.. or he doesn't care haha)

Oh, I didn’t care, but when somebody‘s sticking up for me (thanks for that) I feel like I have to respond:
No, I meant it when I said he‘s a lucky bastard. He‘s unbelievable talented and will be a champion, but that’s usually not enough to get an HRC ride so young. So considering the Geico situation and everything he should feel lucky that everything has turned out the way it did. A lot of thing had to fall in their place to get him that ride.
