Now I see a picture of you in a bought set of gear from another brand.

So you'd rather go and buy a new set of gear from a competing brand rather than using gear we GAVE you and the fact that we paid your salary for the last 12 months?

No way I'd sponsor a dick like that.

Treat your sponsors like friends. Even they ones that aren't your sponsors right now. They stuck their neck out and paid you money for you to be able to live your dream.

It obviously wasn't a press day... it was a test day. You put on gear you are comfortable in and you go ride.

When you are trying a totally new bike, why would you want to be in totally new gear as well? Makes a lot more sense to ride what you've been in the last year so you can evaluate the bike without thinking about other variables.

absolutely. Buying a bike to ride when they don't have one is a nobrainer. Buying new gear because you don't like the logo of the old gear would be dumb. OTOH, if you can get it for free elsewhere and not advertise for your now ex-team, why not.
