Herlings is not 10 seconds a lap faster than the AMA guys
When they where all at Ironman he was only 4 seconds a lap faster in practice

Herlings was really fast in 2018

But not so much anymore....

I checked a lots of his races since. Every second race he is about 2 seconds slower than the first one at an event!

So since 2018, maybe 30 events, getting slower by 2 seconds each event, his new Redbud laptime is 1:98 + 60 sec = 2:98.

Can’t argue with facts.

Comparing lap times from moto to moto is a fool's errand at an MX track, never mind year to year.
