Just go to any dealer that has them in stock and work a deal most stores are not advertising it and just going to give it. They are all over the web for 5399.00 plus Thats how I have bought all mine I pick a store i like and call them and say here is what I will give OTD if you can do it I will come and get it today. If your just kicking it around they will be not so aggressive.

I've called a few places and nothing close to some of the claims here.
Bruce, Give Clawson's in Fresno a call. These guys are long-time moto supporters and always took good care of me when I was out there.

TP left because of hard to find parts for his bikes. So he went with KTM because they make two strokes. RC4 probably has an opportunity with another brand, doubt it has anything to do with the current state of a bike he doesn't race anymore.

You ever rode a RMZ 450?

Judging from RC4 Instagram it would be safe to make the assumption he has something in the works with the Triumph offroad/adventure motorcycle segment in the works. Dungey left KTM to be Honda "Brand Ambassador" and I don't think KTM struggled any because of it. Same for Villopoto leaving Kawasaki for Yamaha. These figureheads don't have anything to do with the actual motorcycle anymore. They go where the bigger money deals lead them.

This thread got me looking for prices around me (West Slope Co) the online ads are 2020’s for $8999 and a couple 19’s for $6999. Some 20’s in Wyoming a few hundred miles away for $7499. Still undecided what color my next freshie this fall may be....

Keep looking. You should be able to get a '20 OTD from someone who actually wants to sell for around $7000. That's what I was quoted a couple months ago and it was the only place I inquired about the RMZ.

You should wait for the 2021.5 FE and the F does not stand for factory.

Austin "Superfly" Teyler is still rockin' his extended '18 RM-Z 450 on the motoclimb circuit. He is on the podium at almost every race with this machine! But the company's future in MX doesn't look too bright...

Picked up a used 2020 with 4 hours on it. For way under what I could buy a new one for.
Bike already has Factory connection suspension(I need lighter springs but the valving is good), full Yoshimura system, rekluse auto clutch, pro taper Sela holeshot device.

Had the first ride today and I’m happy with it. You feel the weight for sure but it turns fantastic and has great front end feel. That’s what I want out of a bike.

Nice! if you need the bike to be more stable, that rear wheel is way to far forward, next time you buy a chain try it as far back as you can.

For what it’s worth I just pulled the holeshot in the final 40+ moto at lorettas. Bone stock engine with FMF stainless pipe. The start straight was tilled about 2’ deep for our gate drop. I was one of about 7 Suzuki’s on the gate and vitals hero Kris Keefer was on the gate as well. Keefer did win the title so he’s definitely the real deal. I talked to Suzuki and definitely good things in the pipeline
Care to elaborate?

Suzuki has a new president coming in. He is pro mx and sx as well as mx bike development. Suzuki is developing a new RMZ they were trying to get it out this yr but covid slowed things down and they didnt think they could make production deadlines. So looks like its going to be 2022. (pos early 2022) JGR has a new outside title sponsor for next yr and is staying with Suzuki.
