There's a solid 2-stroke option. Even has a hydraulic clutch. Shame about the WP fork but you can't always get what you want...

OK KOOOL im sure your Suzuki test rider is willing to let the cat out of the bag early!!!! Im not doubting that they will be unchanged however I was just looking back threw release dates. Im not looking for a "all new bike just" Estart and maybe a few LBS lighter????
Maybe you Frenchies have the inside scoop but if anyone knows in the US they aint talking!!!!I also know people that would know..... Also no need for September release if they are BNG traditionally here in the US if you still have non currents on show room floors they wait on the new bike.
Sorry my friend but the later it is Im cautiously optimistic. If they are new im in if they are not Im riding my 19 another yr. To much yellow to change now!!

Technically, the current model is already capable. All you need is the tuner.

Hi y’all really enjoying all the Drama on this forum!! Most entertainment one could hope for...
As a Happy Suzuki 2020 rmz250 owner just wondering why all the discrimination against Suzuki? I’m new to Mx but it looks to me they have done positive things for the sport...maybe a bit behind In technology but for the entry level rider And at the price point
They fulfill a need for some one who doesn’t want to have the ultimate race machine...
Anyways I did my first track ride at Cahuilla Mx track, never been on a track!! At 66yr had To try it... Great first experience! The bike handles great! And plenty of power!
Maybe a new husky or Ktm will be on wish list 😎 If I live that long!!

Most of 2021 bikes are delayed this year, even the unchanged 250 crf 2021 is for September, some ktm models are for November.
Have you heard the pulpmx show about 21 bikes? This is where they talk about Suzuki's test rider having no job anymore and telling keefer that 2021 bikes have no changes...
For availability, I just searched informations from big suzuki dealers in Europe, and they said late September.
The 450 crf 2021 is only 2 kg lighter, don't expect suzuki to make bigger improvements than Honda has they need to put the damn e start on both their rmz...

This is awesome. I think we can all agree this put a smile on our face. The Suzuki is fine, we’re all just busting balls. Enjoy the bike and riding tracks now!

I'd love to do two of the things you are doing. Riding Cahuilla Mx and riding a newer Suzook 250. Have always liked them. I turn 66 in a couple months and am riding more than I have in years. It feels good. Here is a pic riding a friends Suzook (2005 250) a couple years ago.

Hi Bultaco don’t wait to long 😎 Loving my new Suzuki have about 25 hours all desert 🌵 except last Wednesday at Cahuilla ...went there for first track day on advice from guys on this site...really great people and the track is very well groomed and watered down only went down once on a wet downhill corner! Have all the body armor except knee guards! Which I just ordered..man I’m still sore from muscles not in shape! Jumping which I’ve never done is gonna take some practice! Parked next to Antonio Guto Lima Brazilian Expro who took the photos and gave me some great advice!!
On body position and keeping elbows up etc...might take a lesson next month from him...Super nice Guy! Maybe see ya out there😎

In 2018 when the bike received a new & completely different chassis and several engines mods/revisions...and we had one helluva great Shootout here on VItal...I labeled it "The Easiest Bike to get around the track", Period. It's got power down low that just pulls thru anything. It's stable...yet...turns easily and extremely confidently. When you screw up a line in the ruts? No worries, the Zook kinda tells ya to "Don't sweat it, just keep going". The Zook makes you want to work on your turns and it grants you the kind of confidence to do so.

The fork was/is awfully damn good. The shock was fine on true "outdoor" type MX tracks; but, was weird and hard to dial in on some of the more modern "Step Faced Super Verticle" jump infested and serious whoop infested tracks. It's simply AMAZING as an off-road bike. The shock was literally a surprise, to me, in off-road situations...it was that good and ubber-plush in rocks and tight gnarly terrain.

The Ergonomics are very much like the Honda, to me. The stock bars and pegs seem to fit a very wide range of riders. It gets crazy good mileage. It's dependable as they get. The only mod I'd make for the average rider is stiffer clutch springs (3/one in every other position) for longer plate life.

It's got very "Thumperish" torque and makes a lot more usuable power waaaay down low than you'd expect for a modern MX bike. It's a smooth, easy and controlable power...which is another reason why I say it's so easy to get around the track. It'll still rev just fine; but, it gets A LOT of work done down low where others don't.

I kept the 2018 Shootout bike after the shootout and did some easy add-ons and mods. Ran the white plug and VP T4. It was a really easy bike to work on, super dependable and very "cheap to keep".

It's an excellent motorcycle that I've spent PLENTY of hours on and won my fair share of races on.

Hi Great description !! It really instills confidence in the corners and ruts and power is very predictable and user friendly!
Even when I forgot to down shift was able pull out of trouble as in low end torque 🤓
The only thing I’ve done is change springs to
A 4.2 and lower oil level down to 325 since I only weigh 145 was getting hammered! Rear shock seems great ...M keating who posts on here is really a Suzuki expert gave me great advice! Also he’s a expert racer!
Only place where the bike seems harsh is when I screw up and land front end first on the jumps! Hoping I master these before they kill me! 🤩 speaking of jumps here is my goal to look like this photo of Antonio Guto Lima took at Cahuilla! He gave me some great tips! Thanks all for your input!

This is one of the most entertaining threads I've read in along time and I a Yamaha guy!!!

With that said, for all the good I've heard and being one of the old guys on here, I may need to to buy yellow just to see how they ride/handle.

With that said, if I brought another toy home my wife would kill me!!!

Women might not be able to count, but they aint color blind!!!!!

OK guys I have some info actually I have allot of info! I made a few calls last night to some peeps.
First the disclaimer I was unable to double verify any of this BUT some of the info lines up with another sources info.
I will state that next to the info. Here we go

1. Suzuki motors inc MC division has a new President! He is pro MX/SX and is committed!! THEY ARE TIRED OF GETTING BEAT-UP
2. There is a new RMZ 450 BUT BC of the Rona and some issues in mgmt they dont know that they can meet production Schedules.(pos why no release yet) So they may release a limited number of a BNG bike with minor updates for a 21 model and do a early May release for the 22. The (new bike) is said to be 10.3 lbs lighter than the 20. E start, wifi programmable ignition and has 5-6HP more in stock form. Suzuki believes in the new shock and is continuing to develop it.No major visual changes in frame and body work so no yellow rims. (this is one of the things I did here from another source) So Im pretty sure the bike does exist.
3.JGR is not going GAS GAS! However couldn't say if they are staying with zook. they are working on a new title sponsor for 2021 if that falls threw they may not be back! (the sponsor thing was verified by another source)
4. So who is going GAS GAS? Rocky Mtn ATV as early as next season and Troy Lee for 2022?????
5.He also told me some really good dirt concerning another team and the owner and one of the riders. Part of what I already knew but be ready for a major shake up with one of the major teams next year!!! im not spilling the beans till I know its cool and all parties have done there deal.

Technically, the current model is already capable. All you need is the tuner.

Riding on the main track or vet track in these pics? Looks good! Track watered well? Or dusty powder in places?

Hi it was the Vet Track..when I got there at 8:00 it was in perfect condition!! Only one small uphill section before start area was a bit dusty but not even a problem..around 10: 00 they started watering so much I didn’t realize and hit a wet downhill corner went down nothing serious but a few bruises 😅
I was too nervous to even go being my first time on a track..
Next time I’ll give the Main track a go..😎
Really liked the hilly layout! Except for the fall away downhill jumps ...freaked me out a bit...Next time hopefully be less nervous! Thinking I was too stiff on bike so after 3hrs I was wiped out ! And I thought I was in shape since I’m a cyclist 🚵‍♀️...
Anyways it’s a Great Track Going back Asap!😎

I’m just messing man. I hope that’s actually true. I’ve owned more Suzuki’s than any other manufacturer. Hope your source is right. Personally not going to get too excited though until it’s official
