The car racing he's been doing has been mostly endurance racing I believe. So he has that going for him.

The comment I replied to was questioning Chad Reed's mental ability to be on it for a long time and I referenced that he does endurance racing already.

The ATV race was incredibly dusty today. Lots of very open and fast parts of the track. I think ZA will give it a pretty good go tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Are you racing it tomorrow? That will make the woods and tighter sections pretty interesting.

I am not racing it. I wish I was, but my wife is due today. Baby hasn't come yet so I have basically just been waiting for her to pop!

Biked the track yesterday and there is an insane amount of powder on the track from the dust, even in the woods. I’m talking of you put your foot down outside of the quad rut you would sink about a foot down in a dust pile with the consistency of baby powder. I would expect a few dnfs today. Might even be a race where we see some filter swaps.

Did they let the ATV's ride the track first? That will ruin the track in a hurry... sucks it's gonna be dusty.

I hope Zach does well today ang gives the russell a little push, but I'm still biased towards the two Connecticut guys Kelley and Toth.

Zach currently running 10th after 5 laps. Long way to go...

Edit- incorrect info on 5 laps. They are 2 laps in

Currently 10th after one lap. Bad start, almost last they say over on Racer TV.

Hot and dusty, long way to go. KR in 3rd. Toth out front this moment.

New to GNCC.. why does live timing look like one lap is complete, while they're saying 5 on he broadcast?

I didn't hear that but might have been a miscommunication. XC1/XC2 should be on or near their 2nd lap. Each lap is around 11 miles long.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Looks like they removed the lap count from the broadcast.

It's back up to showing 1 lap completed. It's been a bit more wonky than normal. Production has gotten better over the years but it's nearly impossible to have anywhere near the quality as for Motocross/Supercross due to length and terrain of the course.

Osborne is fading back right now. I would say still in the top 20 but fading a bit. Hope he can get more comfortable. Toth is ripping right now in 1st OA.

17th ? Outright?

Just asking as it's a long time since I've seen the Pro (450) class having much more than 10 to 15 riders in it. I guess they have fairly stringent standards for the 450 Pro class, to have such small numbers in it?

I know the XC2 class starts just after the 450s ( and I see, in the highlights vids, that that class has far more entries in it ) , so I assume Zach has dropped back among some 250s?. That's no disgrace, as it's fairly regular to see a 250, or 2, in the top 10 outright.

It's great to see him having a go in Off Road again. I've been trying to find pictures I saved of his 'hamburgered' hands, to put up, that he got at one of the GNCCs he did a few years ago - it was bloody ( pun intended) nasty.

Wacho currently 18th O/A 10th XC1

Pumped to see a West coast front runner, Dante Oliviera, finding his speed in the trees running 4th O/A!

Sorry gang, someone hit the satellite dish and knocked them off the air in the middle of the race!

It's incredibly dry and dusty out there, as you can see on Racertv.com

Wow, grant baylors mechanic just took a face full of steam from the radiator pressure when is bike overheated. Poor guy, hope he is alright. Looks like they changed the filter and dumped as much coolant as they could into it. On start it was pouring smoke, so it probably sucked in a lot of dust on this race. Second time that this happened to Grant/Sherco this season, will see if it seizes up on him again near the end.
