Interesting. Seems like less ventilation than the current one.

That’s how I feel most times when new stuff comes out, but then it grows on me and I pull a 180. When the new V3 came out I thought it was ugly as sin... now I own a new V3 😂

A few brands have taken on a similar style for their high end jersey's following Seven's introduction of them.

Alpinestars and Thor don’t run a compression shirt underneath a vest like Seven, they just sow a different sleeve material into a vest style front.

Also, Seven wasn’t the first to do a vest seperate jersey design, AXO was the first about 8 years prior.

That's kinda seems like the new trend in helmets, bring it back closer to your face. The new Leatt helmet has it very close as well.

It looks like it might be more of a round shaped helmet? Which is a good thing because some of the helmets have sharp edges that act as an anchor when you hit the ground. Maybe round helmets are making a comeback.

It seems based off the same Shoei design that’s been around for 20 years now. imo Bell stopped creating their own shell back then. The Bell helmets worn in the 80’s and 90’s were drastically different, like Arai helmets were. They were their own thing.

if you have something further out from the head itll rotate slower at the base. but bringing the chin bar in closer to the head probably keeps it from catching on bars or ground and twisting sideways

I've always hated helmets where the chin bar was far away. I felt it exposed my nose/mouth too much and I'd get pelted with roost. After having a couple of helmets like that I started looking for helmets with a 'relatively' close chin bar. The Moto 9 and Fly F2 worked well for a long time. I do like that Leatt helmet though.

Yeah that's the current trend with all of them. Anything that can catch and cause a rotational force...

Yup...Kenny Safford with AXO, who also designed the a-stars logo!...and last I knew was with Mechanix Gloves.
