Question is, what are Webb and Tomac strategies for Sunday?

Please NBC let Sunday’s race be Ralph’s finale as well. You can even have a special segment of his stupid ass stories, seven duece duece over uses, white flag goof ups, slightly gay sexual innuendo, and Wednesday night wonder BS type sayings. It’ll be a fitting send off.

I know Ralph is a good guy as a person but I also wish they would change the tone of broadcast. Ralph has plenty of other gigs, this wouldn't end him. NBC already has Weege on their payroll and he offers so much more to the program than Ralph. Even if they just weaved him into a few rounds, we need him in the booth. It's doing the sport a massive disservice. Not saying it would "grow the sport" but it would 100% make the broadcast better for us fans and paint the sport in a better, more professional (yet still fun) light.

It just sucks having this prospective of quality moto broadcasting and getting this.

I hate being a "hater" but just watch any of the pre and post race videos Jason whips up on a whim and you can see and hear the actual passion he has for the sport and how much more knowledgeable about the sport he is. Present supercross as the professional sport it is not like a weekend circus show filling time with random shit about rider's favorite roller coasters...
Weege does have his phrases as well! Remember Eli grew up in Colorado but close to New Mexico and JA grew up in New Mexico close to Colorado?

Of course he'll work it in.

"The Wednesday Wonder won again this past Wednesday keeping his championship hopes alive and bringing the title fight to the last round"

Or something along those lines.

Is looking good for Tomac, I will be the happiest seeing him clinch his first SX championship.

If that have been Roczen in front of Eli, I think Eli might have messed with him.

Webb is the type to kick you in the nuts (on a Wednesday of course),and say hi to you at church on Sunday.

Baring dirty tactic or an unfortunate DNF, whoever walks away with the trophy Sunday will be worthy.

So points wise, this is interesting.

Tomac needs a 19th or better, that's easy.

But in the 250s it's pretty complicated. The top 4 are head and shoulders above everyone else, so lets assume 1E, 12, 1W and 52 finish in the top 4.

Sexton needs a 3rd or better if Shane wins because they'll tie on race wins, and Sexton would win by 1 point, but a 4th would put him back by 1 point.

Ferrandis also needs a 3rd or better if Forkner wins because a 4th would tie in points, and Forkner would win based on race wins (5 vs 3).

So Forkner and McElrath both HAVE to win, and Sexton and Ferrandis both HAVE to get 3rd or better. That's going to be such a good battle. I'm so glad we have a shootout, otherwise Sunday would be a snoozefest.

If Ferrandis doesn’t get a start on Sunday it will be considerably tougher to come through the field. That said I think he and Sexton win titles

It’s such a guilty pleasure of mine as well knowing where Tomac is now. You see him get a bad start and you get to just sit back and rub your hands together knowing he’s going to put in an entertaining ride!

With the points scenario's that exist, only one of the riders not in the points lead has a "real" chance... Unless there is drama, like a first turn scrap, etc. Then we're in for the 250 main of our lives as fans.

Do you want just a great race or do you want drama???

He whacked a tuff lock really hard with his front and was nearly off. I don’t like Webb but when he passed Osborne Eli had nothing for him
Eli had nothing for him? What lol.
He came from dead last to within a second of him

Yea bro that was damn near a JS7 125 type of ride we just saw except he went last to 2nd instead of last to 1st. Boss mode.

Watching Tomac and Webb battle the last couple rounds, it really makes you think what could've been all year long if Webb wasn't battling whatever illness he had for the first chunk of the season.

If I'm Eli I sit on the start when the gate drops. Pick off the back markers and cruise to 10th. No way I run it in on the start.

Lol I kind of thought the same. Or maybe he try to get the holeshot and still round first corner in last

It would be to the wire if not for Webb's Arlington crash. It will be great to see Tomac get his first 450 Supercross Championship.

Im almost wonderring if he should just let everyone else go and then start like 5 seconds behind everyone else...im being serious.

Not sure if its better to race into turn 1 or come through the pack. Either way its a gamble, never know when you might get caught up with someone coming through the pack.

^ This. If he does anything else he is not thinking right.

What he did yesterday was so amazing to watch but it was fraught with peril. Incredible ride by ET!

He said he tried to get Webb but it is actually lucky he never got right on him. I think Webb would have done anything to take the win.

I guess you could also say then it wouldn't be close if he got Webb's or kenny's starts. I think his starts are the only thing keeping this interesting.

Yep, it’s the same game every year.. like people were saying if not for Tomacs front brake issue in 2017, if not for his crash in 2018 etc. Ifs and nuts, yadda yadda. They’re all bad dudes and each years champion earns it.

Ralph got it right, imagine how different it would have been if things went differently!
