Anyone else catch Craig during the commercial break before his interview? Whooops
Seems like you hear a lot of stuff you’re not supposed to during the breaks in these SLC rounds. Kind of funny sometimes.

He was talking about his gearing - he made a change to get a better start and it made the bike slow on the track. Context is key

Context is not a thing here.

I also learned during the same break that they pre record the post race interviews before coming back live? Never saw that before, but I heard the interview happening on the Gold App and thought they forgot to switch back from the commercial break until they played the same interview when they did come back....if that makes sense lol.

Yeah they left a hot mic on when they went to the first commercial break. I wonder if they always do that (tape delay interview) or if it’s because of the current circumstances.

It's all smoke and mirrors. Maybe they delay it in case a rider says something untoward like, "I'll wreck that bastard next chance I get" or some such.

lots of times they are doing interview with other publication/media back to back to back and you hear those interviews which sound exactly the same.

Definitely possible, but it started with Blair saying "thanks ralph" and then proceeding with the questions and Craig answering the same exact way as when they came back live. It was just one of the trackside cameras that happened to be pointing at the Big screen and Daniels mic was hot. Either way, it's cool to see the behind the scenes stuff every once in a while.

Still got that bike actually. I would sell it to you but I know it would be roached out in a matter of weeks, I just can't do it to that poor thing.

Christian has never ridden an '86 RM125. I'll never complain about a bike being slow these days after having one of those. Grinning

It may be possible that the 87 RM250 was slower. I was racing an 88 CR250, my buddy let me ride his RM250....I gave it back after the first lap.

It felt like it had a rag stuffed in the airbox.
