If I was a predictor of future happenings, I'd say at least one person gets a time out from Gibby!
As for the moves, I didn't see what led up to the Forkner drift over into Lawrences tire, but the retaliation was hilarious and stupid both. Hilarious because some would let the douchebaggery slide, not Lawrence. Stupid because he should have just gone in and not taken him out, just block his line and share a few kind words, maybe invite him to dinner! LOL

Either way, it will make the next few months more interesting.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

Forker is obviously talented but you have to wonder how coach-able he is. Surely somebody has told him time & time again - you have a lot more to loose than most anybody else out there. Why do something that may lead to retaliation? Ride clean.

I'm pretty neutral on the Lawrence bros - haven't seen enough of them to form an opinion.

But the 'Mess the with the Bull Get the Horns' reaction was great if you ask me. How stupid would Forkner be to mess with either brother now?

Admittedly, I'm having a hard time liking Forkner. It's kinda hard not to listen to all the voices calling him a punk, especially when he doesn't do anything to disprove it.

Maybe if everybody didn't slobber all over these two brothers like they they are the next coming of Bubba and the Goat there wouldn't be so much vitriol. They can ride fast, so can damn near everybody else in the field. Can they do it it consistently and post good results? Haven't seen much of that so far.

I think that photo is from St. Louis. I hope you are being sarcastic about the masks and distancing. Everybody there has been tested

We should all be stoked that a new rivalry has been established and there’s definitely more bar banging to follow...

What, because some people build them up, others feel the need to tear them down? I don't get the extremes on either side.

Are you that easily swayed by other people's opinions that you can't form your own?

The sport needs a good one. Just enough gusto and not enough brains yet. Perfect storm for some great racing with extreme talent.

Well of course - that is the way the world works today. There is no need to think for yourself since there are plenty of others to do it for you! And since the majority rules, that way you know your opinion is correct.

But who among us completely gives another the benefit of the doubt when they seem to be living up (or down) to their reputation?

Sorry but this is what happens when LCQ B-class riders practice with the A class.

When is Forkner ever going to learn that practice is not the race? He always tries to win practice, and often takes himself out by doing so.

At what point did he do either in SLC? Hunter messed up his fast lap, Forkner didn’t do anything crazy and cut in front of him, Hunter said “I don’t think so” and took them both down. This sport has a long history of welcome to the pros rookie on SX. None of this is new.

Not looking to tear them down at all. I just feel they get an extraordinary amount of attention and they haven't done much on the racetrack except crash at this point. No hate here whatsoever.

Hmm...well, Jett is still on his first handful of races. Think back to A2, and his speed there. He's shown flashes of brilliance.

I think Hunter's most spectacular results have been on the GP side, and if I remember right he's won motos here, but has also spent a lot of time on the injured list.

I know those things about these young racers and I have nothing against them as I said but flashes of brilliance and GP results along with $5 will get you a coffee at Starbucks. They are racing SX now and as you well know it's a meat grinder. I'd just like to see a little less hype and also see both of these kids slow down a tad and figure things out.

I think Jett knows he has the speed to podium or possibly even win. Gotta be tough to let it come to you when you're 16 and that fast.

I totally agree about his age and that is a big part of the point I'm trying to make. Hell, he is a blast to watch ride but Jett seems an awful lot like AC in the brief amount of time we've seen him this year. All that speed will do you know good if you can't bring it home week after week. The kid needs to decide he want's to finish races for a while and let podiums and potentially even wins come to him.

Jett is a stud and deserves the hype. When he figures out how to keep it on 2 wheels he will dominate 250s.

Hunter:
MX2 - 62 motos, 1 moto win.
AMA 250 - 18 motos, 2 moto wins.

Hunter was in Forkners way earlier on a fast lap.

For those who said Forkner has done more than the Lawrences :

Hunter raced MXON twiced, first one he won MX2 ahead of Osborne, 2nd time he got 2nd overall but ended up 2nd in the MX2/OPEN race. He won races in MX2 World Championship and also in outdoors in his first year.

Jett has won an EMX250 round at 14 ahead of the actual MX2 world championship leader and almost won his 3rd SX race at 16. Add there ages and they are still younger than Chad Reed. They got time.
