I run mine green front / black rear (or all black, either of which is a challenge with the new airbox), but this design has to be the most bad ass I've seen yet on this generation of KX450. Well done! I might have some new inspiration on my next graphics order.
Thanks man. I was going for something different!

Are you using an '18 WC Titan skid plate? Seems they dont make one for 19/20 on their site?

What your thoughts on the odi lock on grips? Do they feel thicker and worth giving up a bearing throttle tube?

I dont care for them personally but I can see the appeal. They're a bit firm for my liking.

How long are your guys' fork seals lasting. I washed my bike the other day and it started puking while sitting on the stand the day after. Seems to happen prematurely. No pressure washer was used on mine.

I got 40 out of a set with no issues. I just ran a risk seal doctor through them every 10-15 hours. These seals went through 40 hours of hell. 4 hare scrambles and a very muddy winter.

50 hours this weekend. Still really enjoying it, nothing major to report maintenance or reliability wise. Very happy and will be staying green for the next one.

4.5 hours on mine and I think it's the best bike I've ever had! Haven't decided what graphics I'm going to run so right now it just has numbers. Adding a slip-on soon and going to have TZR set up my suspension. For some small subtle changes, I had @734blasting cerakote my front brake line clamp & reservoir covers black to match the OEM pieces. They turned out awesome

22hrs on mine. The bikes been great. Love it. Only complaint is the clutch. I kill this bike a lot since your not able to adjust when the clutch engages/disengages. I bought flo levers before I knew about the arc levers that allow me to change that.

-Renthal Fat bars
-Pro Taper Mounts
-Dunlop Tires
-DID ERV3 O-Ring Chain
-Flo Clutch Lever
-ASV Front Brake Lever
-FMF Slip On
-ODI Grips
-Core Moto Front Brake Line
-Twin Air Power Flo Kit

For reach or clutch disengage/engagement? My bike had the flo levers when I bought it. So
I never have used the stock.

That screw is for reach. I just replaced my ASV levers with the adjustable ARC ones and they are incredibly adjustable.

Without resorting to that though, have you tried the judder spring mod in the clutch pack? That should take away the initial sponginess and make the disengagement happen sooner in the lever travel. The change in feel at the lever is noticeable.

I haven't. Ill order it and give it a try. It looks like it's only $13.

Yeah it's for reach. FWIW I put a new OEM lever on my bike for the weekend and didn't adjust it and my clutch felt terrible.

Interestingly, the stock rear pads never really wore on mine. Changed the first set at 65 hours 😮 usually only get about 20 out of them. Maybe has something to do with not being able to modulate the brake, and thus not really dragging it for long.
Also, my front brake drags altough i just cleaned everything and changed the fluid.

I also own a ktm 250 exc Tpi, and wish i could put those brakes on the kawi, then it would be the perfect bike.

40 hard hours. The only track that i can ride is the roughest sand track that i know of. More little issues than i typically like on my bikes but overall pretty solid.

My questions for you guys on the rear brake:
1) is the caliber sliding smoothly on the carrier?
2) anyone use aftermarket brake pads? holy shit....it sounds like i'm at a Pig farm with all the squeaking
3) are the pads wearing evenly?

Just ordered a PC pipe and confirmed it's coming with the rubber mount. Anyone running a rubber-mounted aftermarket can without beefing up the subframe tab? I wanted to slap it on this week and head to Monster Mountain on Thursday. Hoping with the rubber mount it will be good; I won't have time to strengthen the subframe before we leave.

I have over 50 hours on mine with the stock subframe and a PC system. No problems at all. I haven't spoken with anyone here in SoCal that's had a broken mount.
