As a pro racer the chicks have to be near you. As a Fireman/Paramedic you are out among the chicks. This is my experience as a slow racer and a firemedic. That red rescue squad pulls way more chicks than a 'vette or Porsche or any bro dozer.

Actually two questions

Your day job as a Fireman/Paramedic, is the dept. good with your riding/involvement with dirt bikes?

And the big question, I know this has been beaten to death, but who would need to take the lead on getting the 2 stks back into competing into the outdoor lites class? How come nobody hears of any progress IF there's been any talks ?

Never been much of a fan of podcasts, but on my drive to the Dallas SX this year I listened to the RC episode of The Whiskey Throttle show. Gotta say, awesome stuff man. Now every time I'm on a long drive, walking/running at my local park, or doing house chores/yardwork I load up an episode and let it ride. I'm currently on the Dean Wilson episode and got a kick out of the Patrick Potato shirt. Where can I find that if they're still available? If not, any chance those will come back for a second run? Keep up the good work, thanks!

Brian Moreau interview just came out and he said the medics didn’t listen to what he was saying and dragged him off the track. Ping danced around this question like a true politician and covered for these guys, but we all knew it was wrong. These guys are supposed to be trained on scraping guys off of particularly, a supercross track, the correct way. Obviously the staff were either rookies, not regular help, or not qualified. Why at the pinnacle of the sport is the medical help at the supercross track no better than rented Ambulance At an Ohio Mx race.

I guess this is an argument for the medic team and Brian. I heard from one of the guys there that he said his leg hurt. They asked if he could support himself
With his other leg if they helped him up and he responded in the affirmative. I wasn’t there, but I trust medics over folks drawing conclusions from the sidelines over a couple photos. Either way, not my fight, so take this shit and argue about it in another thread if you want.

So Mr Pingree is explaining the MX community that Brian Moreau is a liar ? Because there, we don't speak about "folks drawing conclusions from from the sidelines."

Extract from Brian's RX interview : "I remember everything, how they took me off of the track, everything. That was bad. At first, I crashed, and I couldn’t feel my legs and they came to me and I said, “Wait, I cannot move anything, I cannot feel anything, I’m paralyzed.” I said it several times. I was so focused on not having feeling, not having anything that I didn’t notice they were doing something wrong."


And the "take this shit" comment is way out of line considering what he's talking about. I used to like what you wrote, David, but it's over.
