Hoping KTM will be a bit more adventurous with GASGAS than they have been with Husky in the MX market. Away from MX, Husky does have a different flavor with their machinery.
...and as for the name. GasGas....stupid. GasGas is something you get from a gnarly burrito.
Pretty obvious that this first year was going to be a red ktm.

There are lots of KTM lovers and I get it as I have a 150SX myself but the unveiling of the new GasGas bike was disappointing to me.
I think their name must make more sense in another language. It must get lost in translation.
My best friend is part Hungarian, and he has a cousin named "Huba." (sounds like "Tuba.") I'm sure in Hungary, it's as cool-sounding as "Luke" or "Dylan," but in 1980s America, I thought it was Eastern European for "Dork."
KTM buying GasGas is a great thing.
Look at the bigger picture. Keeping a company from going bankrupt helps the sport of motorcycling.
Sure, in its current form it's a red KTM. That said, the guys that have ridden both the Husky and the KTM say it's different. I'm sure it'll be the same for GasGas come 2021 or 2022.
Shit doesn't get done overnight.
Chevy and GMC is the same base truck. Is that a bad thing?
