Alright so you guys must think I’m a nut posting about ufo which I am still skeptical about big time but the whole ghost thing I am sold.

I have been binge watching almost every paranormal show on the travel channel for the last few months and while it may be heavily edited in some shows most I believe are not faked at all.

The one thing that sticks out is when they interview normal everyday people like me and you and how similar the circumstances are between the hauntings. These are credible witnesses and kids and families hearing voices and footsteps and bangings and seeing black shadows and nightmares. Those are all very consistent across the board. You back that up with class a evp and other instruments and it’s hard not to believe and with history on the property as well.

Now some say it’s not scientific but it’s about as scientific as you can get considering the situation and the credible witnesses make it even more believable.

So now we come to the question on what the f is going on? Are the spirits caught in a loop or are they not able to move on or is it just energy or is this the reality of the afterlife that we are all stuck? Is there an energy left behind although that gets thrown out the door with intelligent communication and psychic contact.

One of the most disturbing trends is three scratches and burning. That happens more than you would believe.

Another common thing is emotional effects people feel like sadness or rage or depression etc. or a feeling of heaviness in a room or of being watched.

We all believe that we go into the light or the dark but one thing is pretty certain is that something is going on we don’t quite understand and there is for sure some evil shit also. Which is scary.

One thing I find very interesting is how the spirits are stuck in a certain place. It doesn’t appear they can travel or leave which reminds me of an American horror story season at the hotel where they cannot leave the hotel. The spirits cannot leave.

So what do you guys think is going on and have you watched a variety of paranormal shows to form an opinion without discounting mine?

Level.......you ever see the movie " White noise"?

My advice , Stop looking into it. Real or not , can push a person into a place they don't want to be.

I think the being stuck in a certain place thing is more due to trauma, and free will. You have the free will to embrace existence or reject it - the latter argument (the evil side really) being that existence is ultimately pointless when faced with eternity - but in any case free will must remain for any side to make an argument. If you die horribly and feel that you can't move on (or perhaps aren't even fully aware of what's happened or where you are) then that's a 'choice' of the person, that's their free will again, until hopefully they become aware enough and/or get over it enough to move on. Lastly, as jeffro said, whether you believe in this stuff or not, you do have to be careful to not invite too much of it in, especially if (as I believe) at least some of it is real. There are things as humans we have the freedom to dip into, but ultimately aren't ready for and are best left to God.

What about all the ghost red ants and penguins? Scarry stuff. Wait did you say credible witnesses? 🤪😱👻
Most have tasted bigfoot scat and have been meticulously probed by aliens. It tickles more then hurts so just enjoy it and never stare directly at the big one or they add on a 10 percent tax to be collected at the next scheduled exorcism.

The period between Christmas day and new year is the best isn't it? You can drink as much alcohol as you want at anytime of day and its socially acceptable.

Then I might start, maybe order a pizza, take a nap. It doesn't really matter.

I have no interest in doing this but some of you "believers" might want to take a look if you are truly interested in getting down to facts. My guess is that people that have taken this paranormal "stuff" (to be kind), hook line and sinker, are not.

Watch one of these shows and jot down every instance of paranormal assertion and bounce it off of this list of logical fallacies. Some of these don't apply but I don't care enough to extract them from the list. If you really enjoy being a believer, don't do this, you will be disappointed.

You should. I smashed my hand pretty good at the start of the month in a horrible crash, the action of picking up a glass and lifting it to my mouth is good rehab for next season I keep telling myself.

12 ounce curls heal you right up. Hope your hand is feeling better. I was just poking some fun at level.
One of my rentals is a historical land site on the tip of an island and Thomas Edison had his bird watching club there. The houses were built in 1900 but I remodeled them as much as allowed on historical sites. There is 12 or so cars buried between the beach and houses as a barrier. Some of the cars were rumored to be major life ending accidents I am told. Many of my regulars say it haunted and part of the draw. There has been numerous wedding there and many pictures with suspected spirits in them.
Good times.

I won’t mess with the occult but I can’t say I believe in ghosts.

Suggestion: read “The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark” by Carl Sagan.

Your post did make me laugh, I've done it a few times and posted even more rubbish than I usually do after being pissed and finding my way onto vital 😂

And yeah thanks, the worst part of the whole deal was I cut it pretty deep as I hit the ground and then slid through a puddle full of sludge. They scrubbed it clean with a brush at the hospital which was interesting. Bike was alright though, that's the main thing!

What’s concerning to me is I have seen many videos of dark shadow figures peeking out behind something and then quickly hide. It’s very odd. It’s almost like there is this other reality we don’t know about or it’s ghosts or whatever. Who knows. It’s very weird watching the videos and they seem 100 percent legit.
There is some very crazy shit being caught on camera that really needs some major scientific study.

Scientists have failed for a long time to reconcile Einstein's theory of relativity with classical physics, yet they all agree that both are correct. Now they speak about multidimensional space, subatomic particles that jump in and out of existence, antimatter, the universe expanding faster than the speed of light, and dark energy. To me, that leaves a lot of room for God and spirits. I haven't ever seen a ghost, but when even scientists say that there are complete parallel universes which exist right on top of this one, maybe there's a scientific explanation for all the happenings.

I have seen some amazing footage on tv. There is some
Incredible evidence out there now with the rise of paranormal groups popping up and some of it is non threatening and some is very scary and worrisome.

There is a ton of paranormal groups around the world now and been several very smart people create some amazing devices to catch paranormal activity like the sls camera which maps out a stick figure when a ghost is there but human eye can’t see. It’s amazing. Plus a lot more technology that they use.

I’m watching a show now with a respected paranormal group and several of them are seeing shadows and light figures move and it wrote the number 7 on the chalkboard Where they left a message when they first came in and there are seven in the group and the lady put two flashlights up and started asking questions and flash the light once for yes and flash nothing for no.

She ends up having a full on conversation and it’s incredible. She then sees a figure move that is hard to make out and then asks if that was you and the flashlight lights up. I mean wow.

I’m very skeptical but it’s hard to ignore all the evidence and common sense just tells you something is going on. Can’t be that many people lying and the coincidences are just incredible.

Another major thing that happens is batteries drain on equipment on full batteries and at the same time that happens they pick up on voices and foot steps and catch evp or catch them with other methods.

I think the one thing that scares me the most is being stuck forever and not moving on and being stuck with constant anxiety that I have now and just being miserable in the afterlife for so long. That is very scary. There is some ghosts that may just be energy lingering but for many they are having full on conversations and seem intelligent. One guy had freaking boxes thrown at him in the attic and that was caught on camera.

The shadow figures peeking out behind doors is very weird. It’s almost like a dimension that is studying us.

There is just something amazing and scary going on that’s for sure whatever it may be. I just hope when it’s my time I find peace and live in heaven or with god and be at peace.

I have personally never "seen" a ghost, felt a "presence" i guess ? absolutely. Yeah I know how that soundsLaughing . But I believe some people are more sensitive than others, and I'm not one of the sensitive ones. I don't believe anything I see on the subject on TV. But..... haha. I've experienced things that can't be explained. Want samples ? Here's a couple.

My wife was taking a nap one afternoon and she said in her dream her (deceased) Mom told her to "wake up because your son needs you", 4 minutes later our neighbor shows up with our son who knocked out 3 of his front teeth skateboarding. She hadn't dreamed about her Mom in years, and usually doesn't remember her dreams anyway.

We've had different people spending the night in our spare bedroom say something woke them up at 2:00am, it's happened more than once and with different people. My wife won't sleep in there. I know I'm not sensitive to whatever it is because I've gone in there at 2;00am and looked up at the ceiling and said "come on lets see ya, I aint afraid come on out fucker, what do you want" Nothing... but I do get that hair standing up on your neck feeling when I'm in there at 2am. That's probably me just freaking myself out, but the other guests weren't warned because we didn't want to freak them out, they told us.

Our Inlaws in San Diego said there's a figure that several people have seen in there house, they even named him "Shadowman" Our daughter thought they were messing with her until she saw it, she wasn't a believer before, she is now. They've had physical things happen in one room, things moved around, and knocked off shelves. One time their daughter said it turned the pages of a book. Me personally if that happened I'd move the fuck out but they say it's harmless and seem to be used to it. When we spend the night down there I take my camper Laughing

I have seen some unexplained things in the sky, but I figure I'm not really educated enough to say "It was this or that" but it was something, and something I can't explain. Mainly the lights I talked about in the UFO thread down in Baja.

So even though I've never personally seen a ghost or entity or whatever you want to call it, I'm convinced there's something to it, and I also believe no one alive is going to understand it. I mean what keeps us alive ? We're just hunks of meat, where's the energy come from that keeps our hearts beating ? It seems kind of naive to believe that us earthlings here on this planet have it all figured out and if "we can't explain something with our known science than it simply can't exist" The people who've died probably know whats going on, but they're not talking, at least not to me anyway Shocked Laughing

Just posted on another thread about this nonsense....

"Theres so much mind numbing nonsense, I've recently been on holiday to the US and I'll usually stay up later than my wife watching any old shit I come across on TV.

The worse example of what I had the misfortune to see this time was Ghost Adventures on the travel channel, do people really take this stuff seriously, it's an insult to any one with even the slightest bit of sense. 4 blokes pretending to hear and see stuff always just slightly off camera, absolute BS."

And the machine which shows stick figures you mention? How is that a scientific gadget? Next thing you'll be telling me Ghostbusters was a documentary.

I have lived next to a cemetery in a house which is over 120 years old on and off for 40 years and have never experienced anything.

Why on the stupid ghost adventures programme do they have all this technology and yet if there are "ghosts or demons" do they communicate in riddles or one word answers? I mean come on, absolute fucking nonsense. These people are just making an entertainment show masquerading as factually scientific.

Let me just say to the skeptics, virtually every great scientific advancement was mocked and ridiculed by supposed "betters" who knew sooooooo much but were ultimately proven to be buffoons. Copernicus ring any bells? Quarks and nutrinos?

Skepticism isn't born of intellect like you all love to believe about yourself. It's born of fear and ignorance. It is sign of simplemindedness and an overarching ego. Just because you don't get it, is irrelevant. That's your argument. Because someone else hasn't validated something for you it's simply dismissed. Good thing truely great minds don't ever think like this or we'd miss out on lots great societal advancements.

Science is only able to speak to what can be proven through rigorous scientific trials and double blind studies and yet routinely they are found to be fudging results from even those. So spare me the eye rolling and condecension. Many things in our exisistance will NEVER be able to he born out to be either true or false due to sciences inability to create a repeatable, testable hypothosis for all events.

So go ahead a jerk yourselves off about how wildly intelligent you are while never acknowledging that you are really the intellectual dead end of thought.

I refer back to my point of these tortured souls speaking in riddles and simplistic 1 word answers, seems naively ridiculous.

If we just settled on what every attention seeking moron has to say without proof we'd be in a right shitty state of fear and confusion, and believe me it doesn't take much.

I can understand the skepticism and some shows are flashier than others but when you have the same common things among them it’s hard to dismiss. When you have a evp recorder and you are getting voices that only get recorded in the device it’s hard to dismiss.

Plus that stick figure camera is more legit because at the same time they normally have spikes in other equipment or capture an evp or feel different or feel a cold spot so it’s collaborated by other things that make the stick figure even more proven.

I’ve been binge watching watching every ghost show on the travel channel for the last six months. It’s hard to dismiss. There is something to all this.

You're watching a TV show that wouldn't be on if they didn't have "something" to show ,keep that in mind .
