That's awesome mate! I have a very similar garage/carport that I hope to build this summer. Mine is slightly longer. I need to concrete the floor, insulate the walls and roof and put an electric door. Then I hope to fit it out a bit like you have.

I'm planning and collecting for my shop now, I'll probably end up just like you 33 years later lol. It's a hard thing to get done.
How much power do you think that mini fridge is going to use? I'm thinking of one for mine but don't want extra expense or risk of fire.

It’s funny, we have a high top table and bar stools as out dinning room table. I got a garage, and wife is getting a new dinning room table and chairs lol. I get to move the old set the garage haha

That's a pretty good trade off.
I picked up a Red Bull bar table for mine. Still looking chairs. Don't want to go bar stool, I want something I can sit back and watch a few hours of racing.

Nice set up! I used to live in that area, still have friends and family in Sussex county!

The heat does work well, hundred dollar unit from Lowe’s. It gets me to seventy degrees no problem.

Take your time, I basically just did it on paper and then built it. Was able to get everything done for 2,000. That was the budget. Didn’t go over so it worked out for me lol

Man you must not be paying attention around here. Don't matter where you live anymore I've seen them stolen from garages in all types of neighborhoods.
Mine will be locked in a fence, in a garage with motion lights and camera, with the wheels taken off, and the wheels locked in a metal cabinet. And if it's in pieces then the high end parts will be in that cabinet too. And even then I'll have insurance on it.

You must be living in a cave or just not smart enough to understand how bad bike theft is right now.

I live in a very nice town upscale town. Its exactly where thieves like to go. Its where the nice stuff is. Sad but its a true fact. Most people think that since they live in a nice area, nothing will happen. So they don't take security seriously. And its exactly why thieves target them.

Just to add to this, don't leave your garage door open if you don't have to. Even if it is hot in my shop, I won't open the garage door unless I have to. I even wash my bike out of the view of the public.
