This is what I saw. I saw a kid fight tooth and nail and end up wrecking. I also saw a kid laying there in a little bit of pain from that collar bone , but also a huge ( and I mean huge! ) disappointment in himself ( which he shouldn't ) and probably at that exact moment , thinking....." Fuck My life right now! " Getting emotional , at that age , and coming about 2 corners away from your very first SX win , being 16??........The whole world just crashed down on that kid! Of course he's going to be upset. What 16yr old wouldn't be upset?
It was a collar bone......pretty sure that's it. He'll get that thing plated and be back in probably 2 - 3 weeks. Kid is a fighter , and he ain't gonna rest on that , or make excuses.
What I'm saying is.......just because you are laying there , doing a self body check , and being completely exhausted , mentally and physically , in front of 40,000 fans , from the ultimate high , to the ultimate low.........you probably don't feel like moving or saying much for a bit.
Edit: if you read the other Jett thread, theres a link to RacerX saying collarbone and concussion.

Pit Row
TBH, at only 16, I would sit him out until outdoors.
If he comes back in 2-3 weeks and hits his head again hard, before it is fully healed, that is how major damage occurs.
This guy has a long, successful career ahead of him full of potential championships. IMO, bringing him back early after that head injury is not worth it.
