Should KTM go after the points leader ?

If you where in Ian Harrisons shoes now would you try to sign Barcia ? i mean he wanted to ride for them before the yamaha deal. And now after this year he´s deal with yamaha is up. Ktm have had an 3 man team before, and if they built him an factory 350 i think he will be crazy fast.

If he continues to have good rides and is happy with the bike, which he says he is, why would he want to leave now? He is Yamaha's number 1 guy and may not be the number 1 at KTM.

I agree with this, I doubt Barcia would move. Isn't Roczen's contract up at the end of 2020? KTM might target him? but like Barcia he might not be the #1 at KTM...depends how this season goes I guess

Roczen renewed his contract at the end of last year with HRC for another 3 years. So he will be there until at least 2022.

Musquin is with KTM until the end of 2021 and Webb is in a contract year, but I don't think they'll let him go.

Anderson is with Husky until the end of 2021, but Osborne and Wilson are in a contract year, so who knows.

I think Ferrandis will take Plessinger's spot at Factory Yamaha next year.

Edit: Osborne is signed until the end of 2021.

i have been saying for years barcia is the poster child for a 350. if the rumors are true that he is riding a stock/semi stock engine, imagine him ringing the guts out of a 350 that is 15lbs lighter. remember when shorty was ripping 3rd gear starts and getting holeshots? the bike has come a good way since short was on one.

Didn’t they try to sign barcia a few years back? I remember a conflict between monster and redbull so it didn’t happen.

Roczen isn't going back to KTM even when his Honda contract is up. He doesn't like Aldon or his program.

They tried to get him before the Yamaha deal and Redbull put the breaks on it.

Dylan Ferrandis will be on a KTM next year

Red Bull said no Barcia three years ago, I’ll bet they would be interested in the new more mature Barcia now, marriage seems to have settled him down.

I think the same can be said for AC, he's been happier and better since he left Baker. His contract is up at the end of the year too but I cannot see Kawasaki letting him go and I bet they are pushing hard to get the deal done.
