He didn't look great tonight that's a fact. Barely making up ground and was gifted a pass when Anderson made contact with Brayton.

You just never know with him. For all we know he'll win the next 5. In the press conference he mentioned that the key for him this year was to better manage the championship. That strategy might or might not work for him.

If AC gets top 3 starts all year like he normally does, he's gonna be hard to beat for the title. He consistently had the most speed all night - both qualifiers and fastest lap in the main. That 450 is suiting him really really well.

But getting 7th (he got lucky, like you say he could've easily finished 8th) is not managing a championship. Getting 3rd whilst being sick is managing a championship.

It's pretty obvious that Eli is still Eli with all the negatives and all the positives. Nothing has changed. Same with Roczen. This was not a surprise in my opinion.

In my opinion what we are looking at right now is the new Ken Roczen standard. 3-8 place guy. With a brilliant nights here and there. All those injuries took a toll on him. I don't buy the "health issue" anymore, heck Webb looked terrible and managed to pass and gap KR.

Got to give it up to Webb. He was FIFTEENTH in timed Q. But come the night show he pulls it out in the heat and the main, while looking physically quite awful. Truly impressive. But this is a guy who won his 2nd 250 SX title with a broken wrist and then just ignored it and went on to win the outdoors. When there is confidence with that guy, he's downright scary.

For the record, I picked Barcia for the win tonight, straight out of my ass, but the boy was legit tonight, as was AC. So many fast guys-lets just hope we keep a healthy field for a good part of the season. Can't see any one rider just checking out and winning each Saturday. And the 250 class is crazy competitive. This Justin kid doesn't take any shit. Great night of racing.

Webb always shows up for the Main Event no matter what. The guy is really strong mentally.

To me that's the most impressive ride from Webb yet. I'm a Webb hater because I want my champion to be gracious and humble like AC but no one in the field has repeatedly shown the fortitude that Webb has. Huge props to him for not only gutting it out but crushing guys like Tomac, Roczen, Anderson, Baggett and everyone not named Barcia or Cianciarulo.

Nailed it. 2 years ago I was, I wouldn't say anti Webb, but I didn't give a damn about him. Last year, he impressed me. I'm a Tomac fan, but this is the kind of shit I want to see Tomac do. Bad night? Dig deep, suffer, and pull out a top 5 no matter what. Webb did that nearly every round last year. AC is gonna have a great year, but as a Tomac fan, I'm kinda straight up scared that CW2(sorry 1) is going to RD5 his way to a back to back title.
