That's pretty awesome. Good to see the spark of an interest of coming back to the races and being involved. The sport is better with Stewart around even off the bike.

Whoa!!! Hell yeah man , that's awesome he misses it and wants to be a part of it again in some way. Very humble and looks to be happy enjoying his life. We need guys like him , RC , RV , MC , Reed , ect still involved in the sport as a mentor type role. I don't know if James understands just how many people look up to him , and miss him.

I am happy to see the want to ride has come back for him. I hope he gets to a point where he can just ride and have fun with no pressure to win. It would be awesome to see him working with one of the teams to mentor / train riders, similar to DV and Nick Wey.

Agreed. It's taken some time, but sounds like he is finally at a place where he WANTS to be around the sport again, which is awesome.The guy has so much to offer and there are so many ways that he can be involved on his terms.

Here's to hoping James makes opening ceremonies appearances at some of the SX rounds this year. Now that we know 2020 will be Reed's last season, it would be pretty awesome to see those two (and RC) out there one more time.

That was the best JS Video I may have ever seen. He seems like he is over the bitterness and finally into acceptance. Nice to hear the CR comments as well.

Props to James, and the sport is better if he is in it in some capacity.

Okay, now that he can finally admit that he is retired and has some desire to be around the sport, who else thinks it would be the coolest thing ever if he would come out on a bike at Reed's last SX and they could take a victory lap together?

Was good to hear has "the itch" to ride as he apparently hasn't been in the saddle for maybe a couple laps at the Freestone event ? I may be wrong and he was just attending
He ought to bust out the Kaw SR250 KX. That would surely put a smile on
From the looks of it, he's content with life. On a side note I noticed maybe a SEVEN "MOOBS" support could be in the works. Hey. The man deserves all he has gotten and achieved if you go back to the old Bubba's world episodes. Watching his daily routine tired me out just watching the early morning hours and training.

Man that is a douchey thing to say. First off Grant , what business is it of yours? And 2nd , do you think the same towards guys like RC , RV , MC , and now Dungey getting in on factory connection? Why is it ok for guys like them , and you to stick around the sport , but not ok for other's?

Here is another thing James is good at , he's good behind the mic. So yeah , kind of a shit head comment from Grant.

What is the reason he stepped away? Growing family, felt like he had been done wrong by the sport (whom?), injuries etc..... just seemed like after his positive drug test, he just said that’s it. He was still battling for wins. Not like a going away tour Hard to understand that if it was something else and that was the final stroll. Hard for someone like JS just to disappear for me this day in age.

MXB2. He definitely was the underdog on the 250 in RACES. To just hop on and get a ride in with no competition was my reference . A little bit of ring ding is always fun
