Besides the typical things like boot gators, kidney belts, open faced helmets or anything Wulfsport do you recall any other cringe worthy mx fashions ( on the track or off)?

Things like those hats with the tails, turtlenecks or those scandalous panties David Bailey & Johnny O'Mara would wear while running the hills.

My own personal humiliation has to do with the skin tight satiny blue JT racing leathers I ordered with "NO PASSING" custom lettering that to this day my wife cannot think about without laughing uncontrollably. If I can find the picture I'll post it and pictures are appreciated.

I wore my snowboarding pants thinking I looked cool. Burned the shit out of em and realized how dumb I was.

Those roost-protecting turtleneck jerseys were actually a good idea at the time and the design performed a function. Likewise boot gaiters did keep your boots clean in muddy practice.

The baggy freestyle gear was just pointless though.

I liked the gear. But I wore it for comfort, not to be a bro.

Admittedly, I used to as well! But I was a kid and it was the 90s.

They are still strong where I'm from as well. I wouldn't say they had the best herb though. And most of them drove around with the bikes in the back, but never took them out.
