Who's going to the Dubya World Vet MX Championships this weekend, Nov 1-3? They have a new event, the World Vet MX Cup of Nations where teams from countries all over the world will compete in a 2 moto format race. Seems like a cool concept...hopefully it takes off.
Can't wait!

I'll be racing my Alta MXR in 30+ on Sunday. Weather looks perfect for racing, and looks like the high winds will be gone this weekend.

Could you try to get an action shot of my friend #956 on a Kawasaki in the +50 class? That would be super awesome! Thank you!

We at Vital...think you should gear up and race. I'm sure someone could loan you a bike for the weekend.

Yes sir. Let her scream. Love riding 125's even though i will be quite a bit slower.

I raced the 125 at GH a few ago and I got passed by 5, yes 5, guys on the uphill on the first lap. I used all of my tearoffs by lap three hahaha

Do you know how I know you don't like me? Wink

I'll admit, it's been quite a few years since I've hopped on an MX bike. I'm much more valuable behind a camera. Smile

Anyone else having trouble accessing Glen Helen's website? It appears to be compromised.

How does the Alta do towards the end of the moto? I honestly don't know much about them. Do they start losing power as the moto goes on? How do the hills at Glen Helen affect battery life? Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I'm genuinely curious.

Glen Helen Raceway has designed a scoring sheet to help keep track of the points for the inaugural Dubya World Vet MX Cup of Nations this weekend, Moto 1 on Saturday at 11am and Moto 2 on Sunday at 11:30am. Using the live timing and scoring you can track the results and point totals for each country to calculate the leaders/winners.

National track practice is canceled for tomorrow Thursday, October 31st, the Vet track will open 9 am-2 pm for practice.

Glen Helen has decided to cancel MX Practice on the National track due to the high wind and power outage. Unfortunately, without power, we are unable to pump water. This leaves the track dry, silty, and almost impossible to get the track prepped properly in time for the World Vet Friday practice and racing on the weekend. We apologize for this, but we must do it to provide you with the best possible track for the World Vet weekend. The Vet/Rem track will open for practice on Thursday from 9 am-2 pm for $20 per bike. This will give Inaugural Dubya World Vintage MX Championships riders the chance to practice for the race on Friday, November 1st.

The National track will open Friday, November 1st for the 35th Annual Dubya World Vet MX Championships practice 9 am-1 pm. The weekend schedule will not change.

I thought online registration was available through today? I tried to sign up and kept getting redirected due to that hacking and now it tells me it expired.

I'm in the same boat. I couldn't register yesterday due to the site being compromised. Now today it says registration has expired.

Glen Helen, please open registration back up for today due to your website not being functional yesterday.

Check out the clip below of Moto1 last year. The bike performed very well. I didn't perform very well but finished 4th overall. Used about 1/2 battery per moto.

The Hillside Fire is very close to Glen Helen. Do you think you'll still be open tomorrow?
Thanks so much...
