Honda gave him a lowball offer because of his injury thinking that there was nowhere for him to go...He signed with Suz before the SX season ended and before he finished his Honda career with his second perfect season...

I remember that race! Sat on the hillside and burned all day! Yeah, Ricky’s last race on a honda and Stewarts last 125 race and only time racing a 250f.

I always thought it was really cool that Ricky dropped down and Raced the 125 class for the last race of the outdoor season 1 year, you never see any thing like that now.
And even after not being on a 125 all season still rode it amazingly
