Hahahaha. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that about Justin Cooper. Every interview he gives I can't unsee it.

Could be nystagmus. My son has it - his eyes jitter slightly when looking straight, so he tends to look for the side a little bit when he’s focused, concentrating, etc. because it improves his vision.

Just a theory...

I can’t believe nobody has mentioned AC. That dude has his head tilted like crazy when he rides.

Maybe there's an aerodynamic benefit to it, or maybe it results in less dirt on the goggles.

I remember my brother pointing out the same thing with Nick Paluzzi from an old moto video. Completely irrelevant, but another rider who did the same thing.

This thread is a prime example of how classless and stupid Vital MX is at times; anyone that jumps on here to pick apart someone's appearance should be required to post a picture of themselves and their significant other...

Vitards at full blast....

Honestly, I think it's just the way he is. It's out of his control.

I was just about to say the same thing, especially through the whoops.

Well you're completely off the mark.. I was in NO WAY picking apart his appearance and I'm still not sure it has anything to do with his appearance.. I noticed he held his head in an unusual position while riding, I then noticed it was maybe more how his helmet sits on his head, I thought maybe this is how he sets it up on purpose for a reason I wasn't aware of!

Anyone else making it about his appearance is on them

Edit: Just reread it to see if anyone is and it was one that maybe was and another that definitely was making about his appearance and the latter was you

Ahh, well I think that settles it. Just the way his head is shaped. Which is totally fine. With his goggles on, it just seemed like he always had his head cocked, I don't see why someone is upset at someone else for pointing it out in riding footage.

It is kinda funny how some people can pinpoint or notice it from the get go that because I had never noticed it until this thread. Now it's permanently embedded in my mind. I hate you OP Grinning

Haha when I first saw it I thought he was looking at the camera or noticed something off the track but then it kept happening.. And yeah there was absolutely ZERO hate or negativity aimed at him it's just a little idiosyncrasy that he has that obviously doesn't affect him or his riding in any way

Most humans aren't naturally symmetrical in structure/shape. And most humans don't spend the time and effort to counter the imbalances that come from life.

Stupid shit like sitting on a wallet or leaning on the console while driving or having a stride imbalance can really jack shit up over time. Physical trauma, such as falling of a dirt bike, does that same. Not to mention the tension carried with someone from emotional trauma.

I ride a moped around as my main source of transportation and realized my hips don't sit square on the bike. Found the reason I suck at turning right on a motocross track! Woohoo (as well as the source of a lot of lower back and hamstring tension). I also recently got into sim racing with VR and noticed that my head is turned to the right more often than not when I recenter the goggles. No coincidence that I am now aware that my neck and trap on my right side is way tighter than on the left.

This thread takes me back to the time when I was a kid and realized one of Shannon Doherty's eyes is higher than the other.

90210 was never the same.

Out of all the topics you could have started you decided to go with this one? Why?

Talking about things you can't unnotice. Although i like JT$ when he speaks he kinda sounds like the guy from the big bang theory who talks weird. Like he will say Herlings is on another wevel or talking about fantasy sx stalking about locks he will say wock. I never noticed it really but once i noticed it i cannot unhear it ever.

It's as simple as that.

Facial Asymmetry is probably more common than we think.

Torticollis, also known as wry neck, is a condition where the neck muscles contract involuntarily, causing the head to tilt or rotate to one side. This can happen in babies due to muscle tightness or other causes, and in adults, it can be due to injury, stress, or underlying medical conditions.

OMG, if you go through the pics, 90% of pics His head is tilted to the left.  Some to the right, but mostly to the left. Crazy.

He is a great starter, but isn't it a fact that most first turns are to the left?  Has he ever got a holeshot were the first turn is to the right??

Congratulation to his third overall this year.  Hope he kills it in the outdoors.

My boy has a big flat spot on side of his head and it’s hard to find helmets that fit and then they point to the right when going straight.
He plays tackle football and had to buy the Axiom Riddel helmet ($800) where they 360* scan your head and make it for your head.
Sure wish I would of gotten him that shape helmet as a baby🤣

I can fit my whole finger between my nose and my right eye but when I try it with my left eye, it blocks my eye.
