Noticed AC went and picked up a new truck at Toyota of Redlands and its sporting the number 92, of course. However in the comments they mention getting it fixed to 9. Anybody else find this interesting?

I just hope I don’t have to hear “thank you Toyota if Redlands for hooking me up with the truck back home” on the podium every week. Toyota of Escondido has stricter requirements for branding than Rockstar lol

AC actually picked this up before Vegas Supercross. Toyota of Redlands sponsors AC & Tallon Lafontaine (SLR Monster Energy Honda). If someone gave me a truck I would probably thank them every week too. Just sayin.

Lighten up bro. The season has only been over for a week, but don’t you think it was a little ridiculous that Cooper almost passed out on the podium but really needed to thank Toyota of Escondido? I had to duct tape my number plates one year at Montreal SX. Nothing like running the only bigtime event of my life and having duct taped numbers in front of 20,000 people, and to add injury to insult I ate shit during the heat.

The GM of Toyota of Redlands is a good friend of mine. Needless to say, they were pumped to put the deal together with AC. It's crazy how long it took to get that deal done. At Washougal, we got to go into the Pro Circuit pits, and talk with AC for a minute. He definitely is a good guy, and a man of the fans. He took off his jersey from after 1st timed practice, and gave it to a friend to hang on the wall of his sports bar! Cool dude for sure.

Why would it take so long to put a deal together? The truck is bone stock aside from the wheels.

I realize it is almost certainly part of the deal to have the dealership name printed that size on the vehicle, but I personally prefer to not have dealer logos on my trucks.

The dealership name is the same size as his name and number.

No doubt the deal was well worth it for AC.

When you pay for your own truck, you get to dictate the size and placement of the dealer's logo. When they give you a $30k+ truck, they get to dictate logo size and placement.

I agree, I always take off the dealer tags and stickers. I feel like even now I wouldn't really want to roll around in a giant dealership billboard if they leased me a free truck, let alone if I was making as much money as AC.

I take all dealership badging off my vehicles too, but they could put “I eat ass” on the side and I’d still drive it if someone was going to give me a brand new truck. Might pick up a few new lady friends out of the deal too.
