AC, and others, were just launching into that sand section sometimes.

Does anyone have any other shots or clips of it from other angles? Looks pretty badass!!!

that last lap launch from him was next level, also crazy how they get almost instant drive after landing

i ran over there from hp hill when i got a glimpse of him jumping it. kinda got there late. sexton was styling over it pretty consistantly though. ac seemed to either completely launch it or scrub the shit out of it.

I wonder what was faster? The drawback with launching it would be that you can bog down when landing that hard and lose momentum going forward?

Can’t remember if it was 2017 or 2018 but Blake Bagget was absolutely launching that jump! Somebody has to have a picture of that somewhere

Note that the track was about two feet lower when Baggett sent it.

Yeah, I remember that! There was one launch in qualifying where he landed on the very edge of the track.

AC said in his podium interview after the first moto something to the effect that we was losing time to Ferrandis by launching that far into the sand, and that he was going to clean that up for the second moto.
