Truth being told this is my desperate attempt to keep my tradition of weekly dumb poll.

Here are few disappointments i can recall from 'murican MX that took place in last decade. Feel free to add some in comments
Poll

What is the biggest disappointment of last decade in MX?

Maybe stick "rider turnout at local tracks" in there. A decade takes us back to the bubble popping and what seems like the end of the heyday of the local moto scene.

The decline of quality post on Vital since 2009.

2 stroke declined in the 2000’s, they’ve probably had a slight resurgence in the last decade. I would say RV’s GP attempt was the biggest disappointment, I was hoping to see a season long battle against Cairoli.

Not really. The sentiments have always been there, they just have a platform now. Fans are fans, and at the end of the day, sports are entertainment.

Also canard being injured so much. I truly believe he had the most speed in that era even including RV but he got hurt so much

Maybe Stewart signing for Yamaha. There is a combo of reasons why he declined after his 2009 Sx title but I think the biggest is the 2010 Yamaha being a bad bike and him being a bad test rider

JGR being the worst factory team in the history of the sport. Undoubtedly. Dry

Depending on who you ask his post-championship celebration party may have been the highlight of the last decade (plus one year).

Stew’s career is by far the most disappointing thing over the last decade ! For me the most talented rider to ever throw a leg on a dirtbike. He could have clinched so many titles

Villopoto blewing Cairoli was definitely a surprise, but who am I to judge?

i feel like it is mandatory for Vitards to give JGR a little break now when they signed Freddy and had decent result. But looking at long term i agree with you...

James was a Red Bull rider. Peiod.

His team (at that time) and he had a "conflict of interest" when it came to this subject and it seems that how this situation was handled (not to well) led to James leaving and getting on the Yamaha.

So, "how" he got on the Yamaha & "how" his career at Kawasaki ended & "why"...that's the real, story,
