Mad respect for Doug, always loved watching him race. He has greatly reduced his cage since the last time I saw him riding, I wonder if it was a requirement to race a standard class?

If they were ever going to make a movie about a motocrosser, it should be about Doug Henry.

The DH19 story needs to be a movie. Self made pro, built a career from local racer to 3 national titles on shear will and determination. The motocross version of Rocky Balboa, only thing is Rocky is a fictional character and Doug Henry is the real thing. Completing RAAM with zero prior endurance racing is madness. Truly one of the baddest MF'ers to every throw a leg over a bike!!!

This guy in RI did a movie about boxer Vinnie Paz who broke his neck in a car crash and came back to box again. Movie was Bleed For This, and starred Miles Teller. Maybe he'd be interested in another story about a New England guy who keeps coming back.

Always was and always will be a huge fan. Sucks he couldn't get his brewery going. I don't think most know the full story and maybe that's why he isn't more well known. I'd bet a good amount of members here think he got paralyzed in his Budd's crash. Badass, period!

How does he stay upright on the starting gate? Does somebody hold the bike up for him?

How does he absorb the impact on jumps without being able to use his legs? Seems like it would be really harsh to land the jumps in sitting position.

Someone helps him at the start and he's got a special seat with a Fox shock to help absorb the bumps/jumps.

Leave out that indecent exposure incident and it might fly.

Riding those bumps without standing up...riding those turns without putting a leg out...unbelievable!
