Brandon. Did you not see his first race?

Actually, I'll give the nod to Joël Robert or Danny Chandler.
Joel for sure. The OG.

Cool ain't the same as it used to be. "Cool" meant you smoked dope and had fuckin' skills...surfing, skateboard, bmx, MX. Cool meant you had a smooth vibe and were pretty accepting of most things and people. If we are talking about that kinda "cool"...there were quite a few cool dudes back in the '70's. I won't name them...the old dudes around here know who I'm talking about.

Roger and some of the guys he competed against were cool in the classy kinda way. Very savvy and even though they knew they were elite...they didn't talk down to lesser talent.

Cool is as cool does.
Couldn't have said it better in any way, shape, or form better than that. Well spoken Sir.......

Cool......You can't teach that.

Jason Anderson. Looks like you could put on some Pink Floyd and smoke a fatty with him.

You’re all wrong.

Andre Malherbe. World champion, film star looks, incredibly hot wife, lived in Monaco as a tax exile and tooled around in a new Ferrari. What more do you need?

Cool as in the look? Dogger in 85, Bradshaw in 89, Marty Smith all the time

Cool as in a personality? I met Dymond once and he was cool.

Good points.

Then there's also that down to earth cool. Like the kind of person that would stop and
help a stranger fix a flat in the rain. There are for sure tons of people like that but Shorty comes
to mind.

This one hundred percent all day long. Nobody brought more mainstream coverage to motocross during that time than Steve McQueen.

People saw Steve (Bud Ekins) jump that fence in "The Great Escape" and wanted to do that thing McQueen did in that movie. They went out and bought bikes and sparked a couple generations. Good times.

Malcolm Stewart looks like he'd be easy to split a 6 pack with.
Can you imagine if a rider stopped for a beer now?!

Stopped for a beer on the way to winning at the most iconic track in GP's - check

Buried his bike with a shovel in front of the Yamaha top brass because the bike was crap - check

Beat the might of HRC on an outdated air-cooled YZ - check

If Carla isn't the coolest then he's the biggest badass. RIP Carla.

Can't believe that nobody has mentioned Ricky Johnson. It doesn't get any cooler than him... soCal style anyways.
