Great listen FYI. Calls out Roczen and Honda. Lot of truth in what he’s saying.

“They hired the best rider (Ken), and it’s just not going to happen now, because they are trying to bring on whoever Ken says and he’s the boss. They think that he’s not going to have any excuses, but then he keeps on bringing different things that are the problem, when really there’s not a problem, he’s just got to make it happen”

Starts around the 15:00 mark for those that want to listen.

He also touches on Gotchic Jay leaving right after this and Ernie mentions he wasn’t the type of guy to ruffle feathers.

Makes you wonder.

Yeah, very unexpected. I thought they were buds. Sounds like hurt feelings and animosity.

Big balls to call out Kenny who should have won at least 2 races this year.

Sounded like he was just saying MC was not a good team owner. But yeah you got the vibe MC was not his idol.

I don't know if bitter is the right word, but he was critical of almost everyone Steve mentioned. He had a negative comment about RonRon, Shorty, Ricky....in addition to those mentioned above. I think he just speaks matter of fact. I didn't take it as him "calling out" anyone.

Great interview, very honest. They both alluded to not having to hold back for fear of losing a deal. Big Lobito fan!

And DV. Called him lazy one year in the 125... haha, not something that I would think of DV.

Be interested to see what DV thinks about that? I think DV will call it as it is if he was lazy he will say he was lazy.

I listened to this last night. I don't think Fonseca was being overly negative about anything. He's just a guy with nothing to lose in the industry now, so he can say exactly what he thinks without any real consequences. And he never said anything negative about Shorty, he was saying how Shorty would also have mixed feelings about MC after the whole debacle with his team in 2012/13. And the year he said DV was lazy was in 2005, not when DV was on a 125. And I'm sure DV can come on here and correct me, but even he would say in the later parts of his career, especially after his back injury, he was not putting in maximal effort.

The people he named that stayed close were all mechanics, so he's probably a little sour these guys that were his "friends" bailed.
