NBC sports App not working

Every week I see people complaining that it’s not working and it has always worked for me. It keeps asking for a TV provider and I have logged in and out of Gold and it still won’t work. Has anyone else had this problem?

make sure you are actually in the gold part of the app and not sports. gold will not ask for your provider.

If it’s asking you for cable provider details, you are in the wrong section.

Mines worked every week so far but today I couldn't watch practice. It was just initializing endlessly and then again at race time I was having issues so I tried to login with Edge and it worked. Something about Chrome for me right now I guess isn't happening.

Mine keeps dropping out and buffering. Ill be pissed if this keeps up! $180au to watch the super cross series and it’s not working!!! I’m not the only one, a few buddies are all having the same issue! Wtf is going on!

same problem for me in Canada, works perfectly for about a minute then starts buffering

My international supercrosslive app isn’t working, it plays for about 20 seconds then goes black and is trying to load. I though it was my internet but it’ll play back a 4K YouTube stream with no buffering does anyone have a link?

It’s been perfect for me also, has anyone emailed the app gods? I emailed them the first week to fix a login thing and they fixed t straight away

Yeah I am on supercrosslive.tv in Canada and the stream lasts less than a minute then freezes up. Have to constantly refresh. I think I am giving up for the night.

I had to go to the Gold app on NBC sports and log in my device. So far so good.

If you're on the NBC app they'll probably just end up blaming it on your VPN or some other thing since it was only made available for the US.

You realise it’s not intentional right? And actual human being need to fix it. It’s like taking back a shirt you bought because it’s defecting screaming in the face of the checkout chick. It’s absurd.

And especially since it’s basically been perfect all season.

Ive now using it on Chrome with the adblocker turned off - being cast to my AppleTV

Mine works fine once I log in but it asks me for an access code every time I use it. PITA.

NBC has a problem. I submitted a bug report with the steps required to reproduce the problem, and I got a canned answer in response. Hopefully they'll fix it.

The stream worked beautifully during the motocross season last year.
This year the stream crashes and reloads on the Android, iOS apps, and 2 browsers, whenever I do anything other than watch the race from the very beginning, without seeking (rewinding, jumping to where I left off, etc...).
This happens whether I connect using a Cable TV subscriber login, or with NBC Sports Gold.

When I seek, the stream crashes and reloads after about 3 seconds. It does this every single time. It's as if the app loads the next chunk of data, then forgets that it needs to keep streaming.

I have no issues streaming anything else in other apps, YouTube, etc... The errors occur only with NBC Sports.

On race day, before the race starts, I start the stream in the browser on my Samsung TV, wait a second or 2, make the video full screen, then I don't touch the remote (except for volume) until the race is over.

For those who are not having problems, are you able to rewind, or jump forward or backward without issue?

There are a few things that can cause this, but it is 100% a problem with NBC Sports.

Watching replay on Video Pass app this morning and it is very choppy. Wonder if that means feed from Denver was problem.
