Whiskey Throttle Show/Twitch

Edited Date/Time 3/13/2019 10:26am
First, I have to thank Ping for doing the ticket giveaway on IG! I won two tickets and the wife and I figured everything out so we could make the 100 mile drive down to Corona.

Second, the love show was great! We had a blast and laughed our asses off! If you are in the area and have the opportunity to go to a show, do it!!

Last, Twitch is a good dude that just loves to ride his dirt bike. Listening to his story, I relate to so much of it and think most of us would be able to. He’s just a normal dude like us that happened to make a living doing what we all love to do(although he took a crazier route).

I seriously encourage you to listen to or watch this episode! Thanks again Ping, GL and Twitch!!

That's awesome man! Sounds like it would be a good time for sure and i am definitely looking forward to listening to that one. Been a big fan of his since the early days. Him and a few others of the OG MM guys used to come do the intermission shows when i was racing local arenacross in Oregon back in 2000/2001. After the races, they would come party and it was something to witness. One year the promotor got them a 5th wheel to stay in while at the facility and when they were about to be performing he couldn't find them. He walks out and opens the door to the 5th wheel and a giant cloud of smoke rolls out along with Jeremy, Ronnie, and a few others. Funny shit!

Awesome!!! Ping and GL are killing it with Whiskey Throttle... Such solid guests, and the long form discussion format is perfect for diving deep into the story lines each guest has to share. As I was refreshing my podcasts last night praying maybe Weege dropped a late Exhaust pod (already plowed through all the Pulp content this week), I literally thought to myself "they're doing the Twitch interview right this second... man I wish it was live streamed!" hah

Can't wait to enjoy this Twitch episode!!

Haha! He tells a story about doing the crusty tour in Australia and after hearing that I can sorta picture what happened after the races. He is just a cool, down to earth, normal dude who made a bunch of money riding his dirt bike. I think if someone isn't a fan and watches this, they will become a fan.

They should donate all ticket sales to a charity or good cause for kids that can't afford bikes

It was pretty last minute and I never expected to win the tickets, but we said screw it. We didn't know if or when we'd be able to do something like this again so we made it happen. 4 hours worth of driving, but it was worth it. Especially after GL's social media rant Laughing

I'm glad you had fun. I flew into San Diego yesterday to see my granddaughter and would have loved to have made the trip up but the fam would have had some issues LOL It's something I really want to do though. It's funny. I'm a pulpmx diehard but I have zero interest in seeing a live pulp show but the Whiskey show looks like a must-see.

Sometimes ya just gotta do things as they present themselves and it turned out to be a great night. Way to go Matty.

I parked next to his house and rode the hills behind his house years ago. It was Christmas Eve. I was with a friend of his. He was going to ride but had family over. He did come out and bullshit with us for a few. He’s the nicest guy you could ever meet.

We do! Every single dollar raised from the live shows goes to Road2Recovery... Goal is to raise $20,000 for them this year. We are on pace to do it.

I dig the show. Im not a huge podcast guy but on drive the the top of Michigan with my wife and 3 year old, it saved my sanity, specially while they were sleeping. Airpods and whiskey throttle came in clutch.

I was dying when GL was talking about the consequences of shooting someone vs paying taxes. My wife gave me the wtf look so I made her listen too while she was awake.

Ping, I'm not sure how but I never knew u we're a smoke eater too. Pretty sweet.

The end of the show was hilarious. I feel like Ping had a moment there where he was like "What have I got myself into doing a public event with GL??" Laughing
