This SX season has been a good one, but it is hard to beat MotoGP races like yesterday's race. Dovi and Marquez battle to the end. Crutchlow looked good and the Suzuki's look like they may have something for Ducati and Honda this year. Yamaha is still struggling with front grip early and rear grip late. KTM looks slow, Aprillia looks better this season.

It's going to be a fun summer with Webb and Tomac in the dirt and Marquez and Dovi on pavement.

Lets not forget Herlings and wherever he ends up.

Yes, insane racing. The GP class was tight and I reckon we going to have a good year with the depth of riders.

Only Rossi was struggling with front grip in qualifying. Maverick had no problems and took pole.

Yamaha are in shit. They are down on power as well as the mentioned (late) rear grip.

I think the problem is the engineers and both riders. It's difficult to deliver one bike when you have two riders that give you completely different feedback and requirements.

But it was a fantastic start to the season! Suzuki is the real deal, Ducati looks good, Quartararo with an amazing weekend (except the result but that doesn't matter, he is a rookie), Honda is matching Ducati in the top speed department (bad news for Yamaha), Yamaha is yet again the easiest bike to ride but lack something if you want to win etc.

The biggest minus goes to KTM, they have problems. But the good thing is that they have 4 bikes on the track now which equals more data (but you have to do something good with it too).

MotoGP, the best racing on the planet.

Have any of you bought the season pass on MotoGP.com? I don't get the Bein channel here in the states , and I really miss it. Just wondering if the pass is worth the money ( which I don't know how much it is?? ). Any other ways / channels to watch it?

I stand to be corrected but one of the Dukes hit 354kph...mind boggling.

Good to see the Suzukis up there again. Feel sorry for ol Lorenzo..poor bugger had a rough start.

What Romano Fenarti back in Moto3 #55...was recieving warnings for exceeding track limits...

Can't wait for the next one.

Vinales can rip a lap in qualifying, but in a race he's garbage until 5-7 laps from the end. Mir really surprised me.

Yeah and that happened a lot last year too. He is horrible in the beginning of the races for some reason!

The good thing about BeIN if you can get it is that they air MotoAmerica also. But then again, they put the MotoAmerica races up on YouTube after the races.

My wife is a super fan, so she really likes all the extra coverage you get through MotoGP.com coverage. I like watching the archive races.

MotoGP is, far and away, the greatest form of racing in existence. The two announcers seemed emotionally exhausted at the end, saying, "Make no doubt about it, MotoGP is the greatest show on Earth."

What's ironic is that, despite having five bikes stacked within 6/10 at the finish, lots of races have been -- and yet will be -- better than yesterday's. At Qatar, the lead pack mostly held position while Dovizioso controlled the pace, then everyone went for it during the last lap or so. We've all seen races where they trade the lead almost continuously for 45 freaking minutes.

And WSBK, looks like Kawasaki is in for a fight this year.

Yesterday's races were great, all three classes. The top five in MotoGP were within .6 seconds, what other motorsport has that? Val coming from so far back to finish 5th was amazing and I think Quartararo is going to be fun to watch. Suzuki needs another 5 to 8 mph top end and they will be a force, Rins is hungry.

Hope KTM is paying Zacaro well, cause he's feeling pretty low right now.

Great announcing and great camera work (on board, on ground, and in air).
Their Camera and data systems are amazing. Something MX can aspire to have.

All 3 were great races. My mum has BT tv, broadband & telephone, she gets the sports channels, I downloaded the app onto my Apple TV then logged in using her account & bingo.

Zarco my be on suicide watch by round 6, Olivera had him covered most of the race, then faded. The KTM's need a lot of help.
