its clear you dont know what youre talking about .

Webb never beat Herlings at MXON and i know you are going to say he did at Charlotte ,
yeah he did but it was Herlings championship race after missing out last 2 years dont think he gave a f.ck about that second race he lost to Webb and Forkner ... and now you are going to call that a excuse ,
i know ...but its the same excuse that was used when herlngs beat Tomac at IronMan when everybody agreed Tomac was in championship mode ... or does it only work one way ?? Laughing

so settle down troll
All you pole smokers resort back to the same ole same ole “we beat Tomac”. Page me when Herlings can beat Webb and Baggett outdoors.

Could he beat Everts ? Everts beat Stew in his prime and RC had the upper hand with Everts in most meetings and RC regularly beat Stewart outdoors. So the real question is could he beat RC . Wink

Question was when stew was in his prime and when he was on.. the fact is when he was on he even left the goat behind (not always) but when James had-it........ Man!

Listen to Ryno on the whiskey throttle show. One week he felt like he and Langston and Brownie were riding a 125 as fast as was humanly possible. A week later Stew returns from injury and is so far gone off the front that they can’t even think of competing with him. Fast guys from every era will come and go. Pure speed nobody so far has had anything to compare. Titles, consistency, race craft, yes others have. Speed, Stew stands alone.

Man, these threads are great except there is no clear cut winner. Just like other sports, different eras , technology changes along with R and D . The comparison is only when it's apples to apples and oranges to oranges. Unless JS and JH are about the same age, with the same era bike and running the same tracks for the same amount of times , then it is a guessing game. But it is fun..

Also James didn’t have a Litpro, and a laptop with traction/throttle data to tell him how to go faster.. jus sayin

Like i said in their prime. Rc and rv have them all covered and proved it by beating the best.

I never saw Stewart neither Carmichael with my own eyes so it is hard to judge for me. I think you need to see them riding from the track side to see how fast they can go. That being said, I have seen Villopoto in his prime, Dungey, Roczen and a bunch of the "most talented ever", but none of them gave me the same impression as Herlings. Speedwise he was mind blowing last year, really.

In five race series, Herlings would get one, Stew would get one, and Ricky would get three.
Ricky would be right there in every race. And this would need Herlings from 2018. Herlings from any other year would not get anything but blowjobs from Richardloots.

So what track data do you have ? Same layout of track, Same ambient temperature and humidity. A track can change dramatically from when XYZ ran it at a 2.03 pace . So unless 2 riders have pretty much equal and against the same other riders then it is all fun.

It's always fun to daydream about this stuff. I've only seen Herlings race in person at the MXoN last fall but what I've seen on TV leaves me astonished. That said he's not perfect and has been beaten off and on by a couple of our guys. I will say that I don't think anybody could go any faster than Stewart and RC were going in 2006-2007.
This.

No. He would not beat RC outdoors. No one would.

Herlings would unquestionably beat Stewart over a whole season outdoors, same as RC did. He'd also beat him in a one off MXDN race, as Everts did.

People forget that Stewart won only one outdoor title on big bikes despite being active in that class from 2005 to 2013. The only premier outdoor title he won was when he cruised every race unchallenged and won 24-0 against the weakest 450 field in living memory.

Herlings would pressure Stewart just as the other top MX riders did, and we all know what happens when someone matched Stewart's pace for 3-4 laps.

Some context tho... not on an even bike the first year and James didn’t race outdoors 09, 10, or 11. He won races after that but I’d argue he was well in to his head injury stages, consistency was well and truly gone.

.... But he gave RC fits a lot whenever RC was at his peak. Prime James was a beast.

Your right Stew got by Everts where Everts had every advantage. I’ve watched Mad Max crash pick his bike up and still beat Herlings at the MxDN and we just watched Coldenhoff beat Herlings at the MxDN. Stew lost to a 10 x champion in the ulimtate last ride of his career. Herlings lost to guys who have combined for one 450 GP win. So how exactly does Stew losing to Everts after a violent crash filled year mean that Herlings would beat him? Herlings gets beat at the MxDN every single year by riders who are not even close to Everts caliber, sans AC in 2012.

Nobody would have touched Js7 at his peak.

He was one of the few guys that could change his speed at any given time when needed.
