It's the bigger picture and historical nastiness of this dope...that is the difference. Apples to oranges example too by the way. Nice detective work though, I will give you that.

Some of you guys can't take Bowers's word and you run your mouths based on your own asinine speculative crap.

That pretty much defines the term "dipshit" for me.

The dipshit brings it on himself, what else is there to point out. Oh yeah, his word...guess that speaks louder than actions.

You have a microchip or something to decipher what he is thinking? Doing? Guess we are dipshits since we don't have that inside knowledge.

Make ya a deal?

Go race with these guys. Go take Barcia's shit...week after week...then address the issue with the officials & watch as NOTHING HAPPENS,

And...then...take the opportunity to give a little pay-back...

And you see how you take it when all of a sudden..."now"...it's an issue.

You DO REALIZE we're talking about "Bam Bam"...right?

As for how some of you run your mouths about Tyler: PLEASE, let me know when you plan to do that "in person"...as one of your group earlier implied...

If YOU'RE such a "bad ass"...go spew this shit at Tyler..."behind the rig"...I'm dying to see that!
Laughing

I, for one, will take the dude at his word.
The rest of you can do the full "keyboard warrior" thing & we'll continue to laugh at you.

As a side-note: y'all have some extremely short and selective memories.

Cliff notes.

I warned the AMA about dirty riding.
I rode dirty.
I got caught.
I don’t like the penalty.

Too many people are blinded by their dislike of Bowers and not seeing/understanding the true issue...Gallagher has had a history of poor decisions, biased and emotional/angry behavior that should not be a part of what an official does. In the past he had too much singular power...just ask Reed what he thinks...It’s time to have a committee/council to make these calls and they as a group decide the fate/penalties...pretty simple.

No don we see the issue with Jon.... and it may be inconsistent. But should all pros t bone the shit out of everyone? Especially 5 days literally after saying they are trying to make racing a safer sport? He is completely out of line from the bowers I heard on Monday. I think blaming Jon is ridiculous and bowers the badass knows he fucked up.
If multiple riders have complained to "the" official about a certain riders dangerous riding/takeouts that have even resulted in injury and yet nothing has been done...this is what happens riders get frustrated and take the discipline into their own hands...We seem to forget that last year Barcia t-boned Bowers that resulted in a broken leg...if that incident was handled properly and dealt with what happened Saturday would not have happened...

Truth is, he's always smashed fools like that circus show demolition derby arenacross and he's irrelevant. Loves to hear himself talk.
Exactly !!! I'm 215# who gives a shit....to me that makes him look even more ridiculous trying to pounce on guys that are 150# lol. It seems like concentrating on racing instead of being lobbyist would be in his best interest.

Hahaha, totally worth reading this cry-tits thread for that jewel. For the record I liked Bowers more before I read his Instagram post but now I think he's just a handjob.

Windham - DV12... Bowers move didn't even compare. Where was that disqualification?

Yea the key is to READ THE WHOLE THING. He said that he doesnt disagree 100% with their decision, hes saying to just keep it consistent across the board. Hes 200lbs so when Barcia absolutely slammed into him hard enough to damage the hell out of his bike and snap his leg in half, it didnt look as bad, even though it was.

Marv demolishing Tomac was wayyy worse, Kenny taking out Webb in retaliation, Zacho taking out Savatgy on purpose for a championship, Hampshire taking out AC in retaliation... theyre big names so nothing happened. Thats what hes saying.

I think most take outs are fine, I agree with him tho just keep it consistent. At the same time human discretion is an imperfect process.

This is why the DQ was merited.
Bowers NEVER ATTEMPTED TO STOP or MAKE THE CORNER! He straight up T-Boned him and that was his intention. Bowers head never stopped looking at the side of Barcia's bike. If he was really trying to make the corner, his head would have been looking where he wanted to go. End of Story.

DQ was EARNED.

Feld sent a message by DQ'ng Bowers. Their message had nothing to do with aggressive riding and everything to do with speaking out against them.

I am curious how people would feel if Bowers snapped Barcia's femur and took him out for the year. Is that "rub'in is rac'in"?

This is a great post that most will ignore. Mainly because it’s 100% accurate and there’s no legitimate argument against it.

So I read thru Bower’s Instagram post. Is it really possible to be hit hard enough to put a hole in the swingarm?

Yes. I had an 81 CR125R and got hit by an out of control open class guy coming into a turn after a fast straight in a woods race.

I had a hole that looked like an axle bolt head in my swing arm. Neither of us fell.
I've seen a foot peg go straight thru the outer wall of a Honda swing arm. The NW use to have some agro arenaX practice tracks.

Barcia didn't even hit the ground, he walked away like he was strolling thru the park. No harm no foul and for the record Barcia should be taking hits like that every race with the way he rides. The AMA is stupid, Imop.

I think each instance is looked on as a case by case. Does the rider have a history of overly aggressive riding. Has the rider been talked to before about this. Did the rider make a mistake which caused him to be so aggressive on a pass?

Since Bowers has obviously been here before, his actions are going to be dealt with more harshly. Where a first-time offender maybe will get some sort of warning or possibly a fine, unfortunately Bowers has been here too many times before. and it was a blatant take out move, which can easily break someone’s leg.

This is all summed up perfectly here. Again the officials are aholes and the reason this happened. How are you a man and not "punch" back?

Barcia even said I guess we are even now. Some of you are such whiny a$$ babies.

Barcia in his at Vegas he was actually still attempting to turn while giving Bowers a shot.

Bowers on Saturday night didn't attempt to turn, look at his front wheel it was pointed straight and he T-boned Barcia.

Great call AMA.
