Mike has signed with the Honda GDR Fox Racing Team and will compete in the MX portion of the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown series this summer.

SmarTop has also joined the team as an official sponsor.

The one year on the Suzuki I think maybe 2011 or 2012, if he wouldn't have got hurt that was his title, he was smoking everyone the first 2 rounds.

The crash that left him unconscious and run over may have been a very big deal for his career looking back

A lot of people like to bag on MA but the dude is a phenomenal dirt bike racer. Maybe he didn't accomplish the things he'd hoped to but his goals were lofty. He aimed high and just missed. That still earned him a great career and shouldn't skew the perspective if how good he is.

This is great news for Mike. To me , he seems like a dude that isn't out there to just collect a paycheck. He seems to just love racing bikes , and can still make a descent living at it , which is cool to see. Congrat's Mike , and good luck this season!

I wasn't really that big of a fan, but I do miss seeing him race in the US. The Alessi's brought excitement to the sport, that's for sure.

So awesome. My all time favorite rider and also cool that I just bought that same gear in the black and white color way.

If all the “older riders” I think he would do very well at off-road. I think he just likes riding his dirt bike and would fine doing that for 3 hours.

He was very fast, but when pressured he turned to dirty moves. In supercross he used dirty riding to overcome his lack of speed especially in the whoops.

Yea , RV was on bad ass PC Kawasaki and Mike on that POS no link KTM . I thin that was the biggest mistake they took the KTM ride. Mike last his confidence and it was hard to bring it back. Just watch some of the old races and u can tell that the KTM was not working for Mike . RV was like on pillows and Mike was getting pounded like crazy.

Word from someone that worked with Mike in the past, Mike did everything opposite of everyone else when it came to bike setup. When on Suzuki with Chad, whatever Chad did to the bike and said fixed the issues, Mike went the opposite way and usually the wrong way.
