This may not be watchable for the younger group...I’m 59 and really enjoy it because the story is about people my parents ages.

Netflix new release. 25-30 minute comedy episodes

The Kaminsky method

Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, the beautiful wife from Last Man Standing...can’t think of her name. All sorts of cameos by famous people. Very well written and of course with that crew you are getting exceptional acting. It’s a good go to bed show after watching a more intense program...makes you laugh that’s for sure

Started watching that and we are enjoying it. The Ballard of Buster Scrubbs looked like Red Dead Redemption and is exactly that so far. A bunch of mini stories in a book. Pretty artsy and weird. Lots of bigger names.

The 3rd season of The Last Kingdom was released in the last few days.

Thanks to those in the thread who suggested Dexter. I liked the first couple of episodes and will save the rest to watch after a Total Knee Replacement Surgery next week. I’m about to have a lot of downtime to watch long periods of binge worthy TV without any guilt of wasting time.

For those who loved Narcos (incredible series), they just released Narcos Mexico.

I have only watched 2 episodes, but pretty good so far.

I started the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul one-two epicness early this summer. I'm not a binge watcher. Think I'm a couple episodes into season 2 of Saul. Jimmy's pretty slick lol...

I loved breaking bad A LOT! But I never did start watching Better call Saul until last week. I'm 1/2 way through season 2 , man what a great show.

One of the few times this summer that I did back to back episodes, was last of BB then right into first of Saul.

BB was a true epic though, no doubt about it. Think the most memorable episode for me was when Mike bought it - I damn near cried....

For something completely different and reality based on Netflix, check out Friday Night Tykes. Four seasons profiling youth football programs in the San Antonio, Texas area.

My son played youth football several years in this exact area Schertz/Converse/Cibolo Texas before this league was established. As much as I love football, gotta say I'd question letting my son play for some of these programs. Pretty intense for 10 year old kids...

Just coming back again to say that the Ballard of Buster Skruggs was absolutely awesome!!! Watched it for a second time. Acting is superb. Stories are great. If you haven't had a chance then give it a go. You wont be disappointed.

Love this thread. I’m headed home after a total knee replacement surgery today so the recommendations in here are much appreciated.

Another season of The Last Kingdom was released last week. I can’t remember if I already said that but I’m high as fck right now.

"Patriot" on Amazon has been entertaining. It's sort of dry humor and gets slow at some points, but it's pretty funny.

Ken Block's Gymkhana show on Amazon is pretty good as well.

It took me a while to get into Ozark...i wouldn’t say I loved it, but I think by the last couple episodes I got more hooked on it. Stick with it...

I am looking forward to the next season.

Buster Scruggs - The scenery was stunning. I didn’t really like the storylines lines except the 2nd and last one. I could see it being an Indie Films favorite, though.

Just randomly watched Time Trap on Amazon and it was definitely an interesting concept on time continuum. A pretty trippy movie.

Anyone else notice how many gay characters and sex scenes are in these various shows? Seems a bit excessive to me considering that lgbt makes up about 3.5% of the population and yet i cant watch a show without coming across some of it.

i'm still with it, about halfway through season 2. it's getting better, pretty predictable but Jason Bateman is one hell of an actor and the writing is really good. i can't stand the FBI agent though, wouldn't mind seeing him join Russ
