Don't spend a penny on upgrading anything. By the time MXoN ever comes back to the USA, the quality gap will be even worse and less people interested. Save money.
The Euros will talk shit for a while (as well they should), but they will be back on here excited to watch MEC by the weekend.
He (and the team as a whole) didn't have the best day today, for whatever the reasons. But nothing he\they did was disgraceful. They went out and risked their livelihoods only to have some idiots demean them from the comfort of their couches.
I'd hoped that the US team would have better results, but this race can be wildly unpredictable. I believe that without the wet conditions that the overall results would have been much different, but maybe they wouldn't have. Either way, it was a fun race to watch whether "our" team won or not.

In the grand scheme of things, I hope Tomac puts it in the back of his mind and worries about a million dollars on Saturday night. Musquin is working on setup tomorrow. Roczen, Tomac, Barcia and Plessinger better get back on that ASAP.
But, wow, what a great show !!!
So 'your' team wasn't successful? Now ya gonna be a baby about it? Harden up and take the 'loss' like the rest of us have had to over the years! Fucken spoilt rotten!
You don't deserve your riders! Whoever they be
The winning team will always be the one with the lowest score, it doesn't matter about your pedigree or history, only what happens on the day. The margin for error is tiny now that the competition is so high, and the opportunity for issues to occur is very high given the number of variables.
Pit Row
That he wasn't up on the podium might be a bit of an indication that whatever happened to his eye(s), could be a damned sight worse than a bit of grit to the eye.
Shame on you.
Just like today doesn't mean that Coldenhoff is the faster rider over Herlings on a regular basis, it's a little silly applying that logic to any other of the finishes.
There are some patterns that are apparent, though, and that's that France has some incredible depth of riders available that are capable of riding extremely well no matter what the soil is or the weather conditions. Their streak of 5 wins in a row is incredible, especially when you consider some of the riders that they've had to replace or have left off their team during that run.
The Dutch deserves the win, France should have handed Glen and Jeff the trophy!
