Hats off to the MXGP riders, they were the better, faster riders today in a foreign country on a foreign track. Props.

We are definitely at a disadvantage on these track conditions. maybe we could stop with the booters and focus on the track variety and different racing surfaces. Some changes need to be made. I'm upset. We got our ass whooped.

Rude awakening indeed.

But I'm not convinced Eli is doing his best. He's usually good in these conditions. I thought the 19 was a good idea but I'm thinking now maybe he should've kept the 18 for this one...

Tomac's "best" is very inconsistent, he's not the strongest mentally as history shows.

I hope team USA can find their balls and some motivation to put on a real showing at one of these here soon. USA riders just don't seem to care about MXDN like they used to...

Hell, they had to host the event in Tomac's backyard for him to even agree to go this year!

Pretty clear to me the US nationals are the 2nd tier series. Just because we aren’t as familiar with some of the MXGP names doesn’t mean they aren’t as good or better. All the talk means nothing, on race day today the MXGP riders were better, period.

I saw our guys riding their asses off and simply getting beat by riders that knew how to ride this type of track better & faster. The Euro's have "The Outdoors" down to a science.

I was STOKED to see Cairolli lay it down like he did.

I did not see them ride their asses off. I'm sure they tried hard, but they almost didn't qualify and they got beat by quite a few riders that truly aren't on their talent/skill/professional level today. If we're being honest, let's just call it for what it was.

I mean, it was a wet RedBud track that was still in good enough shape to jump Larocco's Leap. No excuses really.

I paid $30 to watch the Americans battle the Euros. The Americans were nowhere to be found and I ended up just overpaying an MXGP. Hats off the the Euros and team France.

Even Roczen got his ass whooped. I was looking at him and Tomac barely in the top 10 and thinking how weak it makes the 450 national field look.

The biggest surprise for me was Plessinger, the back to back champ, who is tall, and an offroad specialist, struggle so badly on this wet, rough track...

Ama should add 3 more races including two in the sand and finish the season 1 week or 2 before the nations. This would be a good start.
