Track burgers are best burgers. Diamond Dons Vintage National does a good burger as well.

A few weeks ago I picked up 45lbs of burger from the best damn rancher I know. It's kind of hit and miss with ever being able to get some from him. But gawd dang......the meat , the taste , everything is so far superior compared to what you get in the store. I've made some sloppy Joe's and some taco's , burrito's and some pasta dishes....MMmmMM good! But the burger's is where this burger really shines. I made a colossal 3/4lb + burger just last week.

Mixed in a bit of mesquite flavoring , fried a few pieces of bacon , fried egg , pepper jack cheese , lettuce , couple thin slices of avocado , couple drops of A1 on a big ass over sized bun......was in heaven! Nothing on planet earth can beat a great burger!

Been a big fan of Southwick Cheeseburgers served up by the nice folks at Legion Post 338 since my first visit to the track in 1977.

Another vote for the Dade City burgers ..... or the blue plate special. Pretty sure Randy’s mom was running the kitchen.

When I was 13-14 and my brother and I worked at Starwest after school my mom would always pick us up after our shift and we'd get burgers and fries from Farmer Boys right there off Ramona Expressway. Those burgers still remind me of dirt and getting yelled at by everybody's dads.

Not a burger but Mosier Valley had a lady that made outstanding tacos for a few years before they closed.

Rio Bravo serves a full dinner and beer Saturday night of their AHRMA weekend. Now that’s hospitality!

Anyone had Big Hal's BBQ? It's what you kooks outside of Texas don't understand.

Jack and Diane’s BBQ use to hit all the amature nationals, at least from 01-05 when we were going. Amazing food, and even better people

But the winner goes to the Cuban Baked sandwich trailer that use to come to Lake Whitney....I swear to this day I’ve never had a better sandwich...
The line was 10-15 deep every day from morning practice through the trophy ceremony

i've had a couple "Track Burgers" in my day

i'd rather a "Track Snack", but when it's late in the day and you've just polished off a 30 rack of Busch Light you can't be too picky

At first i thought you were talking "Track Burger" so my mind went in a different direction. I should probably book some time with a counselor.

Back in the 80s, the snack bar at Barona Oaks did their version of a McDonald's sausage, egg and cheese biscuit they called the McMoto. Talk about a great way to start off the day. Pounded down quite a few of those things with Jimmie Johnson.*

*Shameless name drop.
Glen Helen had the same thing also called the Egg McMoto back in the day. They were the best

I keep reading this thread as "track boogers" and want so desperately to share the many times I've had epic dirt filled boogers from a solid day at the track.

I've had some pretty good track burgers. Although, this little hot rod diner a few miles from Steel City is one place that stands out. We used to stop there everytime we went to the track, no matter what. They had the best spaghetti and garlic rolls!

RIP Steel City

We had pretty nice sausage sangers with onion and sweet chilli sauce, but the joke was that one of the mums would warm the bread under her armpits.
