No, he’s the potential winner that Motoconcepts is trying to hire.

Wants his sons to have nothing to do with the sport? Lmao. Better sell that place ASAP before they can even walk. Couldn’t imagine growing up in moto heaven with a dad that was a moto God and not wanting to ride lolUnsure

I wonder why he hasn't felt the need to announce retirement officialy. When clearly he isn't coming back.

James went out like he said he would. I forget who did the interview, but it was around the time Ricky retired and James said something along the lines of: “When I decide to hang up the boots, there won’t be any farewell tour, no ‘There Goes My Hero’(the intro song Ricky came out to during his final SX races), none of that. When I decide I’m done, I’m done.” And he did just that.

Plessinger just needs to hammer the last nail in the coffin by picking #7 when he wraps up the 250 title.

He was done a long time ago.

The fat lady sang.

He was stuck with a fork.

That there goes my hero song crap was so cheesy anyway. I don't understand why others can quit and nobody really cares!

I wish he would just own up that he has retired. Its pretty shitty how he is towards the sport that gave him the life that he has now.

His Mother told me at Lorettas he does NOT want his son to have anything to do with this sport.... and yes, this is fact. With what she told my wife and I, golf is all that matters now.
Gentlemen, he’s over it...... plus loves being a Daddy of two now. Moto is in the past.....
I don't know anything, but this is exactly what I was thinking. Good for James.

He earned that life with more dedication than you'll ever be able to fathom. Do you really need an announcement? It's simple... he's done.

As a fan of JS7 and moto in general, i have no expectations for an official announcement. He was a racer, we are fans. There is no obligation there. He did his job and when he was over it, he left. Just as he said he would. Without a trace. Good for him, he earned it. We got to enjoy it while he raced, he gets to enjoy it now that hes raising a family. I could care less. He owes no one anything
